We stuck out necks out for you, big-time. We hope you remember why you liked the site in the first place, and stick with us.
(Subtitled...Really, for us!!! How can you do favors to a customer who is paying for a product with expectations, it is like GM saying we are doing you a favor making sure the brakes work??? His site makes millions of dollars a year in subscriptions, any actions are not for the customer but his bank account, when you have people bailing or threatening to bail you are loosing your cash cows...this was self-preservation and those who believe otherwise are sheep. Had everyone sang happy happy joy joy after the roll over do you think he would have said "Lets go back, I am doing this for you!!!" Get real.)

This is actually one case where I do buy the story. That rollout was a complete disaster and the software was worse than some pretty basic open source stuff available for free that takes 30 minutes to setup. So I bet they were pushing to go back to the old format because they saw $$$ slipping away to competitors. They would have lost at least 30-40% of their subscriber base at the next renewal, if not more. And just the mods/editors complaining wouldn't have done anything to roll back and have Fox admit they were unprepared. Had to get users threatening to leave, or just plain not visiting the site anymore, to really force a rollback of that magnitude.

Another Scout refugee here. I hate going over there now. I used to go to Scout for my Detroit Tigers, Michigan football, and Central Michigan coverage, but I can't stand it. I'm done with GBW for the most part, but am still going to try and keep up with TigsTown and ChippewasInsider.

Idk if this as been discussed or not and idk If it's just a malfunction on my phone but when I go to scout on my phone in the last couple days it is showing up just like it looked before they made the change. I have it bookmarked so maybe that's why? Wondering if anyone else is seeing this?

I left because my work was taken two years in a row and I was not given credit, if you get their recruiting magazines the recruiting capsules in them were my work, yet they took my work and put other authors names on my articles such as Sam and Allen, etc. The first year I chalked it up to an accident; this year after I complained last year they just did not put any names on them but trust me it was my work...nor did they list me as a contributor. The owner is a user when I brought it up this year the blame and excuses went elsewhere to Sam and Allen yet look at his twitter handle it says he is the EDITOR. Instead of saying sorry or I will print a correction in the next magazine or on the site, he said essentially I was just being weird or difficult. So there you go, and any of you who were or are members there for any amount of time should know how hard I worked to provide stuff to that site on a daily basis and for free, less the last two years they comped my subscription, and though appreciated $99 doesn't even really equal anything when you figured I spent on average 5 hours a day reasearching and linking material, doing stats etc. I will just say watch yourself with the owner and do not be blind like I was.
