To add to this, Reeves commented post-Hoke visit last night that Urbie will be visiting Monday. All indications are that the visit will still take place, as of last night. Sure, Reeves could wake up and decide to go blue, but he hasn't met with PSU HC yet...so it would be very unlikely.

I'm thinking Grant could drop at any time. He has had time to do his research, visited UM last weekend, and probably has Kalis in his ear. Does he necessarily need an in-home from Hoke, and are the other schools serious contenders?

With Diamond and Garnett having scheduled dates, it certainly isn't them. that would leave Kozan, and he is a bit of an enigma. I have heard that he plans to announce on the 28th or 29th, but nothing is set in stone. He has talked about his leaders, but not much wrt a decision date.

Throw in Kenny Lawler, who with an offer, might commit on the spot...or at least I've heard. There is always a chance of somebody appearing out of the blue. Will we get 2 commits today? I highly doubt it, but it could happen I suppose.

I'm not going to say I know for sure, but just because someone is not announcing until next Thursday or Feb 3 does not mean they are waiting until the moment of the announcement to make a decision. In fact, just the opposite is more than likely true. WOTS is that there is at least one silent commit right now and PeeWee's Kay Jewelers tweet suggests it's probably one of Garnett or Diamond. IMO, Caleb Stacey's sudden decision to go to Cincy instead of Michigan at this late date also is extremely odd. He's known for many months that we were aggressively looking for at least one more OL and the story that he just decided to trade Michigan for Cincy because it's an hour or so closer to home is not very convincing. Something has changed.

I think we are going to get Diamond and Grant. I also think there is a better than 50-50 chance we get Garnett. I have no idea where we stand with Reeves and figure we will stop at 27 if we aren't able to pull him from PSU.

Let me rephrase, the aforementioned dates were for their anticipated announcements. I do not doubt that they will make their decisions before they announce. I guess they could commit today, as has been speculated, but I was under the impression that it would become public knowledge, not another silent. Thus the reason we posted announcement dates. Aside from Grant, I don't see anybody committing today, and you would think Grant would just wait for his in-home, but who knows?

Could it be Grant and a 2013 prospect???

Cant see Garnett moving up his date by 4 days and Diamond is visiting Arky this weekend.

Reeves meets with Liar and Vrabel tomorrow and Mattison Tuesday.

Reeves seems to have a good relationship with Mattison.

Yes, we get last crack on the in home with Coach Mattison & hope he does not take a official to Happy Valley next week.
