I love this quote from the article.
Muschamp dismissed his best player, Janoris Jenkins, from the team for a couple of pot arrests last year. Said Jenkins afterwards: "No doubt, if coach Meyer were still coaching, I'd still be playing for the Gators."

Some perspective...the guy that wrote the article is a Gator, and clearly biased. That said, Meyer has this reputation long before he came to Cbus. You just hope because of sanctions and stuff he runs a tighter ship.

Meyer's Gators had half the team in the police station most of the time. The guy just doesn't look for character and doesn't care about discipline.

i hope it was just florida kids because we have had that problem before (jamaal berry, santonio holmes, duron carter) you guys know as well as us that ohio recruits typically have more class than sec recruits. when is your spring game? i cannot wait for fall already!

It can and will happen anywhere, if the coaches don't put their foot down. It is part about recruiting the right type of kids, and second part about laying down the law.
