Gallon by a little bit because he seems faster and more squat. Roundtree has the advantage in height, but he is so slight that he gets bumped out of routes easily and should have more trouble than he has had in the last two games with jump balls.

Gallon. Roy seems to make plays when it really matters (ND 2010, ND 2011, NW 2012) that are highlight plays, but drops a ton of balls. Gallon seems to catch everything he gets his hands on as well as making some spectacular plays.

Gallon, and this isn't even a contest. He actually gets separation in his routes and does so much more after the catch. Roundtree is frustratingly inconsistent.

Roundtree was fine in the slot, just like Gallon, but neither is big or fast enough to be consistently effective on the outside. Roundtree is out there because we have zero true wideouts right now. It's the same reason our #2 QB was playing WR for most of the season and wasn't prepared when the starter went down against Nebraska. Don't blame Roundtree because he is forced to play out of position.

Gallon is a lot better at picking up yards on screens and slants than Roundtree is making catches on the outside downfield.
