Rivals final Top 100 released

  • For a disclaimer, I'm over from Bucknuts, hoping to have a little fun banter. Rivals is probably the ranking service I pay attention to the most.

    OSU - finishes with 7 players in the top 100; 4 in the top 50.
    UM - finishes with 3 in the top 100, none in the top 50

    Shane Morris fell to #86. OSU's Evan Lisle (1 of our 2 OL commits, we need 1 more) is ranked higher than all of UM's 6 OL commits.

    OSU finishes with as many top 100 players as the rest of the entire BIG COMBINED. (PSU has 3, Nebraska 1 and thats it)

    For what it's worth, I think you land Green. I think we (OSU) whiff on Vonn Bell. Shelton Gibson didn't have the grades, and we are scrambling to land one more WR & OL. Remains to be seen if we can.

    So when Michigan lands Green, Michigan will have 1 in the Top 10 while OSU will have 0... Also, he will be ranked higher than every OSU commit....................... so there.

  • Pfft on Lisle being better than all of our oline prospects. Maybe 2 of them. Maybe.

    And Shane Morris is still rated higher than your quarterback, everywhere.

    And Saturday we'll have the highest rated Big Ten prospect according to those rankings. Scoreboard: Michigan - 1 top-10 prospect, OSU - 0.

  • Lisle may be better than LTT is...today, between injuries, etc. Long term, doubtful. Other than that, no way is Lisle better than anyone other OL in our class at this point in time.
