    Sam Webb has good info, but I don't like him either. He is waaaayyyyyy too much of a Michigan homer IMO and the guy has one of the most annoying voices ever- not a good radio voices. I tried listening to his radio show, but between that shmuck who is on it with him, his total Michigan homerism, and his irritating voice....I just can't.

    I also hate that he sticks around at GoBlow and lets himself be used by that maniac Tom Beaver.

    TomVH is the best guy for Michigan related stuff...hands down....not even close.

    Well I agree Sam is a huge homer, he has a pretty good feel for some kids.

    I agree, TomVH has to be one of the best recruiting guys out there period, not just Michigan stuff IMO. Classy guy, calls like he sees it, has great contacts, gets kids to spill their guts, and trustworthy so the kids trust him.

  • seems to me that Hemholdt, moreso than ever, is just trying to prove to the Midwest that he's NOT a 'Michigan guy' so it won't affect his credibility...

    Is it just me or are they just basing it on his last OV? I feel like if you read ANY of his interviews it seemed Michigan was still the leader. Or you know, look at his twitter and see how much he even talks about Stanford.

  • All I know is if what he has told me in the two interviews that we've talked than he's definitely the type who likes to mess around because both conversations I have posted verbatim and he clearly sounds like he wants to go to Michigan.

  • He sure is playing the recruiting game... Hope it works out for us but no need to hang on every word a 17 year old kid says.... Just have to enjoy the ride that is recruiting... Sure hope he is a Wolverine though.... Kid is a stud.

  • I know plenty of people that did undergrad at Michigan and Medicine at Stanford.

    I think he comes to Michigan because he thinks the football is better here, it is relatively equivalent to Stanford for undergrad/premed, and he has built friendships here.

  • The kids heart is with Michigan and his head is with Stanford. If he wants to win football games and get a top notch degree he will come to UM. If he wants to get a top notch degree and play football while doing it then he needs to go to Stanford.

    Stanford football is going to go downhill right away without Luck.

  • A certain Michigan recruiting guru we all know and trust is now backing off earlier confident statements the Garnett is going blue. Now it's more in a 'we'll see what happens' additude. Looking more and more like he's heading to Stanford tommorrow.

    Thanks. Definitely not a good sign because IIRC he has been confident on Garnett for a looong time. If he is now saying he does not know, that means something has changed.

    Yeah, that's pretty much how I took it. He's down to UM and Stanford, and if our most trusted guy is now backing off the confidence, coupled with like almost everyone else saying Stanford, I think the writing is on the wall. Not to say that UM is out of it, just it's not looking nearly as good as it was about a week ago it seems.

    Agree. Suddenly Kozan and Diamond become much bigger priorities with the loss of Stacey. A 4 man OL class would really be a disappointment IMO.

    If Garnett was told that rumor, then the staff needs to clear that up really quickly in the strongest terms possible. I would hate to lose a great prospect over something like that.

  • Just hit up Tom on Twitter he said that he still likes are chances just that he is not as positive as he was before. So we are still very much in this one. Just have to wait and see what happens.
