Reason why it puzzles me, is everything seems to be in Michigan's favor. I'd think at least half and half. Do they know something we don't? Who knows...

From the very beginning, virtually all analysts, including the ones on this site, have said Banner and Garnett will both stay on the West Coast. It's only been in the last month that a few have started to change their tone on Garnett and those analysts are ones who have been traditionally closer to Michigan and/or Midwest recruiting. I think we get Diamond (and I think that because I think Caleb Stacey's switch to Cincy removed the only major obstacle to that decision). In fact, I think Diamond is the silent commit. I also think we get Sam Grant, based on hints by Sam Webb and TomVH. After that, it gets tougher. I think we had a very slight edge for Garnett, but that was before his visit to Stanford last weekend. Right now, I'd call it a coin flip. Pretty much the same with Reeves. I think we had the clear advantage until Camren Williams chose OSU. Now, I would call that one a coin flip.

Most of the analysts on Scout and Rivals have been saying for 6 months that Garnett would end up at Stanford. So they aren't going to change their minds now. Stanford is closer, same time zone, has games in his home-state every year, weather is better, and academics are incredible. The thing to remember though is that Garnett is not tipping his hand to reporters. So those are purely guesses going off that data I just mentioned.

I won't be shocked by either school getting picked.

DeCastro... No clue how much of a benefit he was but I don't think it was a huge gain or loss for him

Will be disappointed if he ends up at Stanford but you can't go wrong with either choice. He's a good kid and any school would be lucky to have him representing them.

Rivals sucks. Hate to say it, but they really, really suck.

Josh and Mike at Rivals annoy me beyond belief. They both have anti-Michigan feeling and when they are wrong they try to play it off as a huge surprise.

I would add Armani Reeves to the must-get list, just because I think Hoke winning head-to-head against Urban would be huge.

Just by the sounds of the quote I would assume their coach. Just a complete guess though.

I am a lot more optimistic about Reeves then ever before, and landing him would be huge. I was counting out Reeves for sure, and hopefully I will eat some crow.
