Another great response from the second thread:
"I'm sure Ohio State's top-five defense, the very one that held Michigan to just seven points in 2010, is going to vanish and Michigan's messianic quarterback - working in a new system - is going to throw TD's all game long.
What a bunch of delusional idiots."
Signed, Denard's 5 TDs against OSU

I am predicting an 9-3 season for UM and these are some of the keys i believe for UM to having that season.
Veteran WR's - Roundtree, Hemingway, and Odoms
Veteran OL - This line can be very good this year.
Denard - Another season under his belt, more work on his passing game, I think he improved tremendously between Frosh and Sophmore years. Still prone to mistakes, many forget he was a sophmore last year and first year of starting.
TE's - Koger should have a big season in this offense.
RB's - Need a back to step up, this could be Cox season. Hopkins, Cox, Smith, and Shaw will all be battling. Need a viable running option to open Denard up and the passing game up more. Teams could take chances with the RB's last year and focus on Denard, need them to have to keep an eye on a back. I think Cox can break out.DL - Need Martin to live up to the hype, hopefully RVB, Black, Campbell, and Roh will help keep Doubles off him to have a big season, or if he continues to eat up Doubles that will free, one of those guys to have big seasons.
LB - Going to be a real mystery out of this group. Demens had a good season once he was finally given the opportunity. Made some mistakes, but the 3-3-5 just was bad all around. This is another group that has to improve to give UM a chance in a couple games.
DB - Needless to say need about 1000% improvement. Woolfolk and Floyd are both back. The younger guys got experience last year, and hopefully everyone stays healthy.
Kicker - can someone please make a god damn fg? Seriously hoping the new kid will come in and win the job..All i am asking for is 60% or better...
If the LB and DB can improve and like someone said get UM up to about the 60-80 range, I think the offense is going to be good enough to win 5-6 games, need the D to help with 1-2. I would worry about new coach and new offense more if there were not 11 returning starters on the O. ( I think Stonum will be back, maybe not for WMU). I think Borges is also not RR in that he will make his offense work regardless but will use what Denard has more and ease into his offense.
WMU - WIN- At home, season opener, despite WMU being improved, they got beat badly last year and I don't think they are a 40 point better team, UM will be better and while WMU might be, this game isn't close.
ND - WIN - Going to be a tough one. ND will score but I think their D will still struggle against a veteran UM offense. THinking 31-28 UM.
Eastern - WIN
SDSU - WIN- I am sure Hoke is not going to overlook this game for one second. Don't think he won't know it will be on the news about his leaving there, SDSU will be looking to win, there is no trap game here. SDSU offense will be good but not great, and their Defense will get scored on. 35-24 UM
Minnesota - WIN - They were bad, and while finally have a good coach will still be bad next year. UM wins 31-14.
Northwestern - Win- NW defense will not be good, and will the QB be healthy? That being said the QB alone will not beat UM this year. UM wins high scoring game 45-31.
MSU - Loss - MSU returns as much, was the better team last year, and it is at MSU. I think the game is a little closer but MSU wins 34-28.
Purdue - WIN - They are not going to be good next year. They couldn't score on the worst UM defense in history and wont be any better this year. While they will score at home, UM wins 48 -21.
Iowa - Loss- While this will be close, and Iowa is not going to be a great team. This will be a road loss for the wolverines, 28-24.
Illinois - WIN-The home team lost a lot more key pieces then the UM did and those losses will prevent the Illini from getting the home win this year. UM 31-21
Nebraska - LOSS- Neb just has a little too much for the young wolverine defense. While they will be experienced against this type of offense. I just think it will be a little too much for them NEB 35-24.
OSU - WIN - No pryor, Frosh QB, Possibly more players out, At UM. I look for the upset here. I think UM will be going to be battling for a decent bowl and looking to break the streak. My only homer pick as well!!
