Before I say I respect the passing game....I need to see Maxwell complete the easy/routine throws first. I know...I know...Denard doesn't do it either, but Maxwell is a Pocket Passer. So until he proves to me that he can make the easy throws, then I'm not real impressed by your offense right now. Not to say they won't come around cause they prolly will, just like ours hopefully.

Yea, we're waiting for the same thing with Maxwell. It's so hard to tell with anyone right now.

  • Watching the Cal @ Ohio game...I can't even put into words about how unimpressed I am with that Ohio team. Every week I watch them I become more and more confident in our win in the 'Shoe'

  • I see what you're saying but they have talent and nothing to lose. They are basically scrimmaging all year long and their bowl game is in November at their house.

  • If they do not shore up the defense....Denard and Fitz will have a field day and for the love of God make Braxton throw the ball

  • Agree but Michigan needs to get their Oline jelling for all that to happen. I'm hoping Braxton never gets consistent throwing. That would be bad.

You guys almost lost to Air Force, I know we have been dissapointing but you guys haven't been exactly awe inspiring yourselves. Worry about you guys before you start ripping other teams.

  • Wow. What is Tedford doing. Kicking another field goal. Dumb move. Ohio, saved again by a fearless fg kicker.

I'll rip if your team any damn time I feel like it....this is my board. And y'all haven't played anyone yet, so if anyone shouldn't be talking it would be YOU. I was an all-state QB in Ohio back in the day (which doesn't mean anything other than I can throw the football) and I'm telling you....point blank....that Braxton Miller throws dead ducks

  • Least talented Ohio team I may have ever seen in my life. Similar to Michigan it's going to be until 2014 before they can start competing with the big boys. And no that doesn't count any BIG team. We are just a bad conference right now.

However, MSU is going to make Braxton Miller their b*tch.

hahahahaha, we do our talking on the field man, I personally just can't wait until you guys walk out of the shoe with you're tails between you're legs like you have the last ENTIRE DECADE. It doesn't take a former all state QB to see that Brax has alot of work to do throwing the ball, but Denard is no Aaron Rodgers himself. If you actually watch Brax he can sling it, he's just inconsistent.

Um that kind of sounds like Denard. Inconsistent.

Agreed, and man overall I agree with the actual topic of this post the BIG needs to step it up, and we will. At least OSU and Michigan I'm confident will, but both programs are still a couple years away. You guys are gonna be really scary with that Morris kid. He has a cannon arm.

Can't wait to get back to a full pro style offense. You probably won't agree with this but I can't wait for Deveon Smith to get here as well to play RB. That kid is a beast.

Is the bolded supposed to mean something?

If so, then consider the following:

With Jim Tressel as Head Coach, the 2009 Ohio team nearly lost to Navy on September 5th - the Buckeyes' season opener at home.

That same team finished the season by defeating #7 Oregon in the 2010 Rose Bowl.

very good point, just my opinion but i think the B1G is a toss up at this point. The team that can progress the most probably takes it. (obviously we cant play in the championship game but can win our side of the division) We looked bad today against a subpar Cal team, MSU looked horrid against ND, you guys had a rough first week followed by a tough one with AF and Wisky struggled with mormon state today. We are not a very good division but we all do have talent and i think the team that can progress the most may end up the B1G's best team.

winner of UM vs MSU will win the big ten

  • The Big 10 is in bad shape right now, plain and simple. There are no locks anymore, every team has there fair share of weaknesses and anything can happen in a mediocre league. I do see some teams on the upswing building solid foundations for the future, but not this year.

I'd rank the B10 behind the SEC, Big12, Pac12, and the ACC... thank God for the Big East lol.

Well it's good thing the season isn't over. All the B1G teams have a chance to get better. Hopefully they prove better in their bowl games.

Denard at least throws a good ball, just not always to our team. But staying on topic, the Big 10 is looking real weak right now and if we lose to ND next week it'll be even worse cause if that happens...we might not have a team finish in the top 10 at the end of the year.

I don't suppose you've noticed the drastic changes occurring throughout the B1G. Nobody fears OSU anymore. Purdue believes they can beat you, as does MSU, Nebraska, and most of all Michigan.

What happened under Cheaty McSweatervest is in the past. Wake up son.

That's all that needs to be said. You can try convincing us that OSU stands out. They don't.

  • Watching the replay of the OSU -Cal game. Cal misses 2 FGs which would have meant a tie game going into the 4th quarter.

OSU had about 20 total yards of offense in the 3rd quarter.

Clearly they are the best B1G team.
