    Can't have it both ways. Their defense is still not demonstrably inferior to MSU's despite having played against Alabama, Nebraska, weird Air Force, and ND - all without their starting CB. Forgot that, eh?

    Michigan State is giving up 1.2 pts and 14 yards less per game.

    MSU has also faced the top 4 scoring offenses in the B1G (OSU, Neb, IU, UM), while UM, to date, has only faced 1

    Now- I know you can't face yourself- but the offenses in conference play MSU has faced vs. the one UM has aren't close.

    Michigan plays Ohio State as well - HAVEN'T YOU HEARD?

    Why don't you view common opponents? Nebraska put up 28 on you; 23 on Michigan (despite, uh, having favorable field position quite often).

    We'll see about Ohio State Saturday.

    Regardless, like I said, MSU's defense is NOT substantially better than Michigan's. That's a fact.

    I would say JR is very interested in UofM. Why? To follow the Director of Player Personnel - on a public account - knowing MSU coaches can see it .... tells me he is serious.

    So ... on the MSU board spartanjock99 said the following:

    "He is 100% committed to MSU. Nothing to worry about. Even Jabba the Hokes endless pizza buffet won't be able to pull him away."

    I ask the following questions ..... if he is 100% committed to MSU, then:

    1. Why did he not say so when asked a couple of days ago? He could have said 'Thanks .. but no thanks.'

    2. Why did JR follow (on Twitter) our Director of Player Personnel 2 days ago? To tell him no through DM? Please. JR would make a phone call or his coach would call. He would not communicate using Twitter for petes sake.

    I still believe he is all MSU .... but he has delayed an 'official' public statement of 'No Thanks' for some reason. I suspect it caught him off-guard, and he wants to think about it. The coaches would not have offered unless they thought we had a chance. This would have to be extreme Jedi-mind games otherwise.

    We missed out on 2 top hoops recruits to OSU.
    Treadwell says we are now 4th on his list behind schools he's never seen.
    Green still seems interested in the dumpster fire that is Auburn.
    McQuay paid his own way to go on a visit to Vandy for a HUGE win over Tennessee, right after visiting Michigan.
    Notre Dame is #1 in the country.
    The B1G just added Rutgers.

    This JR news might be the only positive we've got to talk about right now, so I'm all in! lol

    I'm not discrediting Damion Terry by any means, but I'm going to trust Shane Morris more than Damion Terry on Jon Reschke. Shane and Jon are best friends and I think Shane has more pull than many MSU fans like to believe.

    I wouldn't say Tery barely knows him..

    Both have been committed to MSU for a while...

    That's like saying Shane barely knows any of UM's recruits that he wasn't previously friends with
