him and shane morris are best friends and I'm pretty sure he wanted a michigan offer badly. but this makes me think that LT, LMlll and DG are not looking good for michigan. your going to offer a LB after you were full at LB and you turned down levenberry when he tried to talk to the coaches again. looks like the coaches are looking for new players to fill the last two or three spots

Ya kinda weird with the levenberry thing. Only knock on the coaches with recruiting Is it seems they close doors with talented kids. I know they are being honest and I think that is freakin awesome just wish they would keep the line in the water. Of course I don't really know how they handle it, just speculation

So I ask the question to you and others, what should the coaches have done?
Here are the facts. Coming into the 2013 class the coaches knew what positions had to be filled and the numbers per position to fill with. They also knew the current roster and knew they wanted to fill specific positions at LB. they communicated to every LB they offered that they were only taking 2 LBs.
So if you wanted the coaches to keep a line in the water by that I assume you mean let anzalone and o'daniel visit. Lets say o'daniel visited and now was ready to commit. The coaches already had Gedeon in the wings and McCray on board so they wouldn't accept o'daniels commitment because that, at the time, would be overloading at that position because o'daniel projects to WLB. So by telling a kid no thanks after he spent his own money to visit, you don't think that would burn a bridge quicker than being upfront and telling him they are full? I have a feeling the coaches didn't like the way Levenberry jerked around during his recruitment so perhaps the red flags got mounted around his name on their board.
This most recent offer, he isn't projecting WLB, likely more SLB. So to star69 post, we turned down kids like o'daniel and anzalone because they were WLB, a position that reschke does not project to so the question is moot.

you tell them here's the deal. we are full at the lb position and if you want to visit you can still visit just in case we get a de-commitment. we can't accept a commitment from you now, but you are still welcome to visit; it's your decision. If we get a de-commitment, we will accept your commitment. that's what they should say. I hate that they completely stop recruiting a kid and tell them not to visit.

Interesting offer that's for sure. Saw someone mention keeping the doors open on kids. Goes back to the point i brought up a few weeks ago. You were in good shape with the LB that's committed to Clemson and told Anzalone not to visit, but are now offering the local boy. Don't know what to make of this offer. Looks like your QB position is in much better hands than i had anticipated for next year, congrats been impressed from what little i have watched the last 2 weeks..Beat OSU. thanks..
