Bell is averaging 3.8 yards a carry in BIG games. Hes not breaking tackles at the line of scrimmage like last year.

I think Bell is slightly overrated, a fundamentally sound team will shut him down. He thrives on arm tackles and shoulder-thumpers.

Its going to be scary once Mattison actually gets some elite talent on defense. 2 things I think M needs to do to win the game, tie or win the turnover battle and get pressure on Braxton If that happens M has a good chance. M needs to go after are put team every chance they get, are putter has a hard time getting hang time so the coaching staff has him doing this hop step thing to try and give time for are gunners to get down field. Urban has been stubborn despite having way to many punts blocked and refuses to change the game plan.

Not to pick, but I think the word you were searching for a couple times was "our"....

Urban did the same thing at Florida without having big backs. I watched quite a few Florida games when Urban was the coach and he would run his smaller backs right up the middle in more power type plays. Throw in Tebow running the ball as well and Florida was not a finesse team at all. I think you will see the same thing at OSU.

I was hoping Borges would do more the same with Michigan's offense this year. So sick of seeing the stretch read option play where Fitz runs east and west.

It's just a flip of what Urban had in Florida....He had the speed backs for the edge/outside and Tebow was his power back...now it's Hyde for power and Brax for edge/outside...but same philosophy...stretch the D, make a LB honor the RB and that slows his pursuit when Brax keeps it....

What we haven't shown but once this year, and I'm kind of assuming we'll see it against UM, is the read option PA and quick hit to the TE behind the LB's....Florida ran that alot, and we've run it once all year, I believe against Cal...it worked and I think Urb is keeping it on the shelf until he really needs one..

After I complimented you on tBB the other day ... tisk tisk. OSU returns 4/5 OL starters next yea so unless something crazy happens OSU will be fine at OL in 2013 -- 2014 will probably see a lot of new starters on the OL.

2014 is more what I was referring to. For OSU to maintain any semblance of a good line, there pretty much can't be any misfires within the 2012 OL class.

Ha. You should check out the OL recruiting during the JT era, I'll take what Meyer is doing on OL all day long over that.

There are 9 freshman on the roster now, with a few of them already #2 on the depth chart....with the additions of OL this year and next I'm truly not as worried about the OL as I was before Meyer came...This group has already been coached up more in one season than the previous 11 years combined...I think Warinner has done the best job of any of the coaches this year and have complete faith that he will develop those guys to be ready when needed....
