I tend to agree with you about the Oline but we haven't faced an elite defensive line unless you consider PSU to have one which I don't. Its not Hoke that I am worried about its Mattison. While I don't consider M to have an elite defense they do play very sound and should match up pretty well with are offense. I think last year Mattison underestimated OSU passing attack who wouldnt I think we were 3rd worst in the country and played to much cover 0 / cover 1. Are offense is better this year but I also expect Ms defensive to have a better game plan.

I think 24-28 points is pretty spot on although the BIG has been so crazzy this year who knows. I actually think are offense compares pretty well with NDs. A power Spread attack of course the one advantage we have is Braxton Miller is a much better runner than gualston (spelling).

Golson i believe. Well braxton, like Devin and denard, can open things up in a hurry. But if you watch that game we completely dominated that offense. Denard threw 6 picks to put them in tremendous field position every time. Mattison is a huge difference maker and probably the best adjustment guy in college football. He recognizes things quickly and generally corrects the issue. However, like I said, the three quarterbacks can change anything. One small crease can be an 80 used td.

Its going to be scary once Mattison actually gets some elite talent on defense. 2 things I think M needs to do to win the game, tie or win the turnover battle and get pressure on Braxton If that happens M has a good chance. M needs to go after are put team every chance they get, are putter has a hard time getting hang time so the coaching staff has him doing this hop step thing to try and give time for are gunners to get down field. Urban has been stubborn despite having way to many punts blocked and refuses to change the game plan.

This,
Miller makes Hyde considerately more dangerous. He gets opportunities Ball and Bell don't get because they have to focus on Miller. I actually think Rob Smith number 2 is are most talented back but he has issues holding on to the ball. You can really tell the difference between M fans who have actually watched OSU play this year I am sure that goes both ways with the fan bases. M fans that think we run the dickrod finesse spread will be surprised when we play. OSU plays power football just with some bells and whistles I really hope Urban continues to bring in Big backs.

Urban did the same thing at Florida without having big backs. I watched quite a few Florida games when Urban was the coach and he would run his smaller backs right up the middle in more power type plays. Throw in Tebow running the ball as well and Florida was not a finesse team at all. I think you will see the same thing at OSU.
I was hoping Borges would do more the same with Michigan's offense this year. So sick of seeing the stretch read option play where Fitz runs east and west.

I just cant wait till we get a true flanker in the program that's the missing piece in my opinion. I have to ask because it makes me a little nervous, what are the theories behind Dnard not progressing as a passer? It almost seems like he got worse from his sophomore season. I ask because I am nervous the same could happen to Miller, Although I do like Millers throwing motion and trajectory better.

I agree with you on the flankers. Just looking at your last couple recruiting classes, I don't see them. You have some smaller guys 6'0-6'1 ish, but it looks very similar to the direction we went in with RR. We recruited great slot guys and hybrid RB/WR guys, but we didn't have any true elite WRs. It hurts.
As for why Denard regressed as a passer, a big part of it was taking him out of the spread. Borges is running a hybrid, but his heart isn't in it. He is making due until he can fully implement his version of the West Coast offense. IMO Braxton Miller is not likely to regress the way Denard did, but I wouldn't expect him to get much better either. He is what he is.
