Regarding Taylor Lewan's NFL future

  • Analyst says Michigan's Taylor Lewan will be elite NFL prospect in 2013, Denard Robinson won't be a QB

  • Looked at the CBS rankings for the draft and they have Hankins from Ohio State at #6 overall.... Hahahahahaha.... Watch the film from The Game this year and he was dominated by our OL.... Every time Lewan got his hands on him he was mauling him

  • Dual-threat QBs in general shouldn't waste their time trying to play QB in the NFL. Even ones that are pretty good passers don't make it. Denard is obviously better off playing WR in the NFL and using more of his elite speed and agility. Trying to play QB would be a waste of time and an overall setback. You guys think Lewan would stay another year? He already has the components that NFL scouts are looking for.

I think it will have a lot to do with how this season goes. I wonder if he'd want to play on a team without Denard or RR.

  • I really hope Denard gives up on being a QB after the season is done. If he has a good Senior Bowl and Combine at WR he could really shoot up Draft Boards like Matt Jones did.

As for Lewan, I think it depends on how his season goes and who comes out. The 13 class (although it lacks a elite prospect like Long or Thomas) is really deep at OT. DJ Fluker, Ricky Wagner. Chris Faulk, Jake Matthews, Oday Aboushi, Luke Joeckel, Alex Hurst, Xavier Nixon, Seantrel Henderson, Cyril Richardson, and Tanner Hawkinson all have potential to go high. IMO I think Lewan comes back for the 13 season when he will pretty much be guaranteed to go in the First in 14.
