In all honesty: he was a Sparty fan from the beginning, Michigan was down, and Sparty did a great job recruiting him. We didn't really have a chance.

The only counter to this is how quickly and easily Hoke and Co. were able to turn this around. How many of Michigan's top 10 in 2012 did they get? Of the ones they didn't did they even offer?
