Cleary will definitely be in a rare situation at Michigan. He will get plenty of reps at quarterback next spring. Cleary has the skill-set to play quarterback at the next level. We will see if he takes advantage of the opportunity.

Great stuff Clint! Sounds like Brian is really excited, so I'm happy to see that he gets this opportunity. A little surprising that he said he'll be the third QB, ahead of Morris. Guess we'll see what happens! Should be an excellent scout team QB if nothing else

Cleary said that Borges told him he will be the third QB next spring behind Gardner and Bellomy unless Morris is able to graduate early and take part in spring practice in 2013.

Morris has stated before that his school does not allow kids to graduate early.

Ahh right, my mistake. But yeah, DLS does not allow kids to graduate early so you're right

Great opportunity for Cleary to get some reps in the spring of 2013. He's absolutely right, that not many walk-ons period, let along walk-ons at a school like Michigan, get that type of opportunity that early in their career.

I'd rather that Morris enjoy his second semester as a senior then come in and redshirt. He'll be carrying the burden of BIG expectations on his shoulders once he steps on campus for good.
