Clearly it was Poggi, with the new evidence. Why OSU would be mad is the one thing I don't get in all this...maybe just because we get a top line guy?
But Poggi committing would complete our DL nicely, with still one spot possibly remaining.

Is it really that hard to believe that Green and Poggi are both committing soon? I still think the commit watch was for Green and then Poggi decided to announce Monday. Green is the only guy Alex from eleven warriors could have been talking about.

I'd love Augusta at SDE, that would be my ideal scenario... you think Michigan will still look to take another lineman if it is Poggi that commits on Monday?
The freak athleticism is what is drawing me to Augusta, not nearly as polished as Poggi at this point but his upside is unbelievable. With the coaching staff we have, especially on D-Line, i'm looking for upside in recruits because I know they'll get the proper coaching.

I don't believe Augusta has an (commitable) offer. There may still be questions off the field that have to be answered. I agree that another DL, strongside is possible but its certainly not a need if Poggi commits. We are also high with Bower, Teller, and Muhammad plus coaches see Poggi playing multiple positions on the line.

Stop with the non committable/ committable offers. There is no such thing, every offer is committable. If the coaching staff doesn't want him to commit they will pull his offer. I'm not so sure Augusta has an offer though, something with academics.

You've said this quite a few times recently, why do you feel so strongly? Recruiting is a very delicate game and I guarantee you there are such things as non-committable offers. Some schools have assistant coaches throw offers out there to get kids interested, but say they have to come visit and get final approval from the head coach. It is a delicate balance of wanting to build relationships, gauge interest, but also have an out without looking like a-holes by "pulling offers."

I don't like the term because we sound like a bunch of Buckeyes. It's quite simple, you either have an offer, or you don't. If you have an offer, you can commit. If you don't, you can't. The coaches aren't going to say, "Hey, you have an offer, but you can't commit." If the coaches don't want you to commit they will say "We are full at your position, you no longer have an offer to play at the University of _______."

Possibly another commit soon
