Sure- it might not happen often and the %'s certainly don't show that it happens a lot.. but it can be done..

Oregon has success with lower classes until recently, Wisky's been winning consistently for more than a decade with low classes

I have no idea how it'll play out- but I like the direction of MSU football and where it's headed- and that in itself, shows how far this program has come in the last 5 years.. can't wait to see how the next 5 years turn out as well

What about Boise State, thats your most relevant example that you failed to mention.

agreed, when you make a bcs bowl then come tell us how great 2-3* recruits are.

Easy there. A little too early to be talking down to MSU. They shared the Big Ten title 2 years ago. The last time UM won the title was 2004. Hard to argue that MSU hasn't been better than UM over the past 5 years, including last year.

Yes, MSU has beat us the last 4 years.
Yes, MSU has had good teams over those 4 years.
Yes, Michigan was dismantled due to the Rich Rod era.
No, I do not care about the past in 2012, as this has no bearing on the future.
Yes, Michigan has brought in elite coaches and recruiters to clean up the RR mess.
Yes, Michigan is again attracting elite pro-style talent.

Will MSU repeat the last 4 years over the next 4 years? Who knows. But ... Michigan's recruiting classes + elite coaching is positioning itself quite nicely for something special.

The 'buzz' is back in A2.

Go back to Bucknuts and worry about your 6-7 team.
