I don't really think that the home jersey should be changed ever except for once every other year. I don't really get joy out of watching some random thing that has no ties to Michigan history. If recruits really need a special jersey to come to Michigan then they shouldn't be at Michigan.

No one needs special uniforms to go to any school. I think you'd be hard pressed to find any kid that went to a school just because of their uniforms other than the bball player that said Baylor had ugly unit. But I think it's foolish to say kids don't like it. Look at the way the team reacted to numbers on the helmets...the Blue Bloods hated it, the team loved it and wanted to keep the numbers on the helmets for the season. New uniforms still have ties to Michigan because they are MICHIGAN'S uniforms.
The fact of the matter is that 18 and 19 year old kids enjoy being "fashionable" and doing new things like wearing special uniforms. I just think that it can't be ignored.
