Opinion’s on alternate uniforms?

I assume the Sugar Bowl uniforms will become part of the rotation. I’m expecting a blue version of those to become part of the rotation as well. I would like to see a white on white combination as an alternate for away game’s using the Sugar Bowl Jersey’s and the pants from the MSU game.
Any ideas or opinions on what you expect them to wear in the future or what you would like them to wear?

I would like some alternates every now and then as long as we don't go crazy, I'd prefer that we switch to Nike first, though.

Go back to Nike, until they do all the uniforms they wear now are just not up to par. Brandon needs to make it happen if he can.

The maize looks better for the basketball team than it would in football. Same with hockey. I just can't imagine it looking good in football.

I wasn't really to impressed with any of the alternate uniforms from last year.. I will say- a lil work could be done with the away jerseys thou - I'm also not a fan of the number sticker on the helmets.

We should go back to what we wore during the Lloyd years and only wear alternates occassionally as in 1 time per year at most. Not every damn game like we're Oregon.

My bad. I mean the bumble bee jersey from the ND, MSU and the Sugar Bowl game. I love the trad. Blue jerseys.

The away uniforms have never really been “traditional” though. It seems like they tweak them every couple of years.

I wouldn’t mind if we wore them up to 4 times a year. It would give the fan base something to look forward to when we have to play schools like IU, and Minnesota, or a weak OOC opponent.

Besides the big time tradition rich programs wear their normal unis most of the time. Wearing other ones 4 times a year means you are Northwestern, MSU, etc. not on the level of Michigan, PSU, USC, Alabama in the tradition category.

UF, UTk, Nebraska, LSU, are all programs’ that have worn alternate’s or PC’s in the past that have tradition. Bama wore PC’s in 2010. No one really noticed them though because they didn’t do much to them.
Wearing them for 4 games isn’t really that big of a deal.
