Fickell's young it's his first year. It's Vrabels first year. It's tough to tell how they'll turn out but it's Mattison no doubt.

Just a quick note: it's their first year under Urban, but Fickell has been at least a CO-DC at OSU since 2005. Vrabel has been our DL/LB's coach this year and last. Our Asst's are primarily young, but they've done a fantastic job this year motivating a team that has had pretty much nothing (except winning) to look forward to until next year. I'm very happy with the job they're doing.

Yep, they were, but the result was........wait for it........wins.

If DG is so much better than BM, how in the world would your coaching staff not know this and put him in against Nebraska (that Braxton put 63 on the board) instead of the "high school QB"?

I'm gonna go with the fact that he was a wideout all season prior to the injury to Denard and therefore wasn't taking many snaps at qb.

Common sense and you don't go hand and hand at all.

Why are you so concerned about Borges being criticized. Does he owe you a lap dance or something ?

NO, your are correct, he wasn't taking any snaps....good coaching there...cause DRob never would need to go out of a game...

Prior to the braska game he hadn't really, again you're correct....

In other news what's your opinion on brax looking so slow since the Illinois game? I mean he's so tough and all.

Mattison and Borges are better than whoever the hell Urban hired at OSU.

Don't forget ole Greg gave up 34 points at home to the third worst offense in college football. Now...Borges...I agree, he is a genius. You guys have a good one there. I hope he stays for a long time.

Coach Hayes...Why did you go for two with such a big lead?..."Because we couldn't go for three"

Denards missed 3 games to injury in his career, 2 recently. But, he has never been loaded in an ambulance.

Which should be the ONLY way you leave the field....let's see, your rationale is BM had to leave in an ambulance, yet hasn't missed a down since is somehow "less tough" than a QB that has a hurt elbow, and he missed one game and only played sparingly in another.....

I'll take the kid that bounces back and plays over one that uses an "ouchie" as an excuse to cover up his lack of ability to throw the ball.....He knows DG is better and now he doesn't want to come in and throw, he'll look bad and then really lose his starting job for the bowl game. But it will be spun as DRob just hasn't healed enough so he's going to play WR. MY GOD, how can he catch the ball if his arm is just hangin by a thread??

Your a nut case..My rationale? It was a simple statement in response to your "Braxton is tougher than an ouchie" comment. But keep on being the douchebag that you are, its almost as if your fighting your own thoughts.

  • Funny thing is, BOTH Michigan qbs have won TWICE as many Big Ten Player of the Week awards than Braxton.

Denard won 2, Devin has won 2........Braxton just 1.

Both Michigan qbs have won the Manning Award Player of the Week award (best qb performance in all of college football)....Braxton has won ZERO.

Is this the same Borges that gets called out on your boards constantly?

Yep. Still better than the OSU O coordinator. We have seen the last couple of weeks that given a QB that can run his offense, Borges is very good.

Now wait a minute, you have the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm candidate and you are saying your starting WR is a better QB?

Huh, you'd of thought that the coaches, especially Borges, could've seen that in the Spring or Fall practice sessions. I don't get it.

lol Man you can do better than that. That isn't even close to what i said. Keep trying slugger.

Your quote was something to the effect of "Now that he has a QB that can run his offense...."

So that is implying that DRob couldn't run his offense. Was that because A) he couldn't "grasp" the offense? B) He couldn't throw the ball well enough? or C) He couldn't learn the signals coming in from the sidelines to call the plays?

It means DRob is meant for a spread offense and not the more traditional pro style. Gardner can run a pro style.

whew! For a minute I thought you were taking a jab at DRob's passing skills...Oh, gotcha, DRob can't hand off or take a snap from under center.....
Wait, who recruited DGard? What type of offense did that guy run?Was that the RichRod Power I ?

Or its because the offense is much better and dynamic with DR causing havoc at multiple positions?
