If Michigan and Nebraska end the season with the same record, who advances? Is it based on head-to-head to Nebraska?

    Yes, we lose out.

David Baas. Super Bowl Champion. Stevie Brown. Interception machine.

    Brady 6

I'm saying that Kennedy is now the 3rd string QB. Bellomy is 4th string. That's harsh.

I thought someone said he had a kidney injury?

If we have the same in-conference record, Nebraska would go because of head-to-head.

DG will definitely start next year. He made throws that DR couldn't and the WR brought a lot of them in. Great passing game.

Gardner looked shaky for about a quarter but the next 3 quarters he was fantastic. Rawls saw more time today and ran pretty well i thought.

We were good defensively. Jake Ryan had another fantastic game. He is an absolute beast.

  • Thanks guys. I'll try to find highlights or a replay tonight. Was it on BTN or ESPN? I'd imagine BTN...

It was still a bit of hybrid between the pro style and spread but had much more pro style in it than what we normally run. Still not a lot of straight drop back passes from under center that we will eventually see with Hoke and Borges though.

I can't remember if we even ran a read option play today at all. I don't think we did.

I didn't see one...there was one run in the 3 and out to open the 3rd that looked kind of read-option-ish, but I'm pretty sure it was a RB run all the way.

  • A lot of empty seats in East Lansing today. I am just saying.

Interesting. Didn't know the tide had turned so much against him. I recall when he was treated like a god.

So does everyone think DG is the best option remainder of season and Denard should be benched?

Did you miss last weeks game? One where it was obvious, that everything revolved around 1 player. Did you catch today's game? The one that revolved around a team. Could you imagine today's team with denard at wr with the occasional stint at RB? If dg started from day 1 of last year at qb, and denard REMAINED the focal point of the offense, while spending time at each skilled position, IMO, nobody could've stopped us this year. I'm not dogging DR, best athlete on the team. I just think he should've been the 1 to change positions, and he would still be the star of the team.

Alabama sure would have stopped us. lol

OK, OK, but I think we would've put up a much better fight (on offense).

I was really impressed with the progression DG made throughout the game today. Some bad stuff early on, and some questionable decisions throughout, but feel MUCH better about next year from what I saw today. Doesn't have denard speed, or elusiveness, but he makes up for that with his size, strength, and accuracy. That goal line push he made had both my feet in the air with my MAC level 3" vertical keep lol

Did you have fire wood available? Or did you have to go and purchase it?

I had firewood. It just turned out to be exceedingly slow burning firewood. It wouldn't burn well even after using a Duraflame log under it. I had to supplement it with some store bought logs that burned much more easily. They were useful for keeping some embers alive throughout the night, though.

Anyway, my power finally came back yesterday afternoon. Any idea where I can find the full game? BTN looks to be rerunning the Illinois @ Ohio and Nebraska @ MSU games over and over again.
