    All time wins, I'll concede.... UM takes the cake there... I don't like using that statistic since it's skewed (UM football est 1879, AU 1892), but I'll concede it because of the winning percentage. UM-73%, AU-63%. Not a huge gap, but a gap nonetheless.

    Conf championships have nothing to do w/ each other, since #1 we're in different conferences and #2 AU didn't join a conference until 1933.

    What other numerous stats you got? Heisman winners? Nope, 3 each. All-Americans:76-68? So less than 1 for the 13 yrs longer that y'all have on us? Claimed NC's? You guys claim 11.... but they're wierd, who would claim some of those, except Alabama of course.... We claim 2, but have 7 unclaimed (only AP claimed, which coincidentally UM has 2 AP titles as well)... Because we don't claim what we didn't earn...

    I'm failing to see where Michigan is really that much more of a "powerhouse" than AU is.... maybe you can enlighten me?

    Easy chief I live down here. How about we discuss your northern understanding of the taxation concept and jobs i.e. the economy? fingergun

    It is very difficult to talk to SEC fans though. Most Big 12 fans down here are rather reasonable, and the A&M fans were great until they beat Alabama.

    I don't like looking at past stats because they're completely pointless, but seriously? Pretty darn even?

    2. At least we were wise enough to buy him! As Sir Charles said "He was a damn good investment". Forreal though, that was an impressive offensive line. I could have put up video game numbers behind that line.

    Means we've been to more bowl games than you. Which is better. And we missed a bowl game twice in the past 50 years or something. You miss bowl games every other year.

    Truthfully, we've missed 4 over the past 20 years. 91-94 we were on bowl-ban due to the Eric Ramsey crap... Some say that we should claim the 93 championship since we owned everybody we played that year, but that would be like tOSU claiming this years....

    And, you are correct, you have been to more bowls than us... so how come less wins? biggrin

    But Auburn fans can't talk anything about being a power program nationally when they can't even win their own state.

    How are you going to talk smack to other teams around the country when you're getting crushed at home.

  • Just going to wait for the decision now. One of these fanbases will be happy tomorrow, and I hope it's ours.
    Sidenote: Farrell thinks the order of teams with the best shot are us, Tennessee, and Auburn, in that exact order. So take that FWIW, but he is one of the best sources on Green.

    I find it dubious that you would mention an undefeated season in the bcs era and then follow it with saying "thanks for playing".

    Michigan uses an inflated number of NCs like Alabama. 10 of your NCs were before 1950. You have 1 NC in the modern era of college football. If Auburn were to use the same logic, Auburn could claim 9... 1910, 1913, 1914, 1957, 1958, 1983, 1993, 2004, 2010... That would be 6 in the modern era

    Don't look down your nose at Auburn. We don't stand down to anyone. We are just as much if not more than a college football powerhouse as Michigan... BTW, you're 0-3 in your last 3 games vs. the SEC. They call that a losing streak
