Dodson had a bout of consciousness and decided he couldn't cheat on his girlfriend.....if he was aware or even still there when Pittman was carrying on then yes....Thomas came in after the fact he wasnt even there...he was questioned.

AThey weren't arrested, but CMXI said "run-ins with the law" - They're on a police report for a rape, which I would say is certainly a "run-in with the law"

You say this with such certainty. Unless you were there or inside Dodson's head, you can't comment on what actually happened. Hell, I'm a Michigan fan and I'm saying we reserve judgment until more facts come out.

Well we dont really know what happened yet (probably will never know the whole truth). All I am saying is if this did happen and they were there then they are guilty by association.

    According to ArrestNation.com

    OSU w/Meyer Bri’onte Dunn (July 2012) Dominic Clarke (January 7, 2012) Jack Mewhort (June 2, 2012) Jacob Stoneburner (June 2, 2012) Storm Klein (July 6, 2012)

Michigan w/Hoke Fitzgerald Toussaint (July 21, 2012) Frank Clark (June 2012) Will Campbell (April 7, 2012) Josh Furman (February 11, 2012) Marvin Robinson (November 2011) Darryl Stonum (May 6, 2011)

Pretty similar at this point, actually. Though Hoke's been there for one season longer, obviously. Se'Von Pittman hasn't been charged yet, but I'd assume he will be. Glad he's off the team, hopefully the poor young lady gets justice for what's allegedly been done to her.

Whatever capacity that was... this isnt the stand or Cross exam bro. Stop being a Lawyer for a minute...Im going based on what our fabricating Writers said was on the Police Report.

  • The post about problems with law being an issue at most schools is true. It is refreshing to see someone looking at things from a realistic perspective. Some of the guys on the osu list were cited for drinking which is no worse than Denard having a warrant for failure to appear lol. UM has had its share of issues over the years.

  • i'm not sure why fans even connect players being arrested to the school or coach. It has ZERO to do with the coach or school. Now if Urban was trying to cover up for the player or didn't take action then there would be an issue.

But the player who supposedly commited the act is off the team, so I have no idea why someone would hold Urban or OSU accountable.

If an employee I worked with got busted for rape, you think the employees boss would somehow be in trouble?

I don't like Nick Saban but when some of his players got charged with armed robbery he promptly kicked them off the team. I don't hold Alabama or Saban responsible at all for those guys, and only an idiot or pure OSU hater would try to connect the crap Pittman did with OSU or Urbs.

If the boss was personally responsible for the hiring, and the boss had months to assess the employee's character, and then a year to impress upon the employee the importance of discipline and proper behavior, then yeah, I think you can hold the boss responsible.

This isn't a situation where Meyer was just handed these recruits and told to work with them. Meyer had plenty of time to gauge Pittman's character, and he had even more time to work with him to ensure that nothing like this would ever happen. It's on the coach to instill an environment of discipline and high character - something that Meyer clearly has trouble with, based on his time at Florida.

  • Thank you to those that are reserving judgement until the facts come out and are respecting the rivalry. I don't care who the player is, even if its Braxton, they have to go. This is something that shouldn't be taken lightly and won't be taken lightly by Urban. He has 0 tolerance to this. For those that are loving that this happened at OSU, you are sick humans. How and the hell could you be happy someone got raped? Oh, is your rational that it weakens the OSU football team so therefore it's justified? I hope out of respect for our two institutions you can see past that. I would post this exact same message on our OSU boards if this happened to Michigan. And the reality is, it can happen to anyone, anywhere, no matter how strickt of guidelines one has in place. It's quite sad. I don't respect the people on Bucknuts that make remarks about Hokes weight and I don't respect posters that justify rape because it hurts a football team; that's not respecting the rivalry. All and all, Michigan and OSU are great schools that are exactly alike which is why our rivalry is so intense. Respect the rivalry, be passionate, but for goodness sake, be human about it...I'll see you guys in AA in about 8 months.

Most of the arrests from both sides were for drinking, or just acting stupid. Frank Clark had the worst charge on UM's side w/ breaking and entering... ohio players have been charged w/ beating a woman, and sexual assault. I don't think a simple tally of names tells the story, especially when Hokes been around twice as long as urb.

If Michigan would've had 2 players in the course of a year being charged with violent/sexual crimes against women i'd be extremely disappointed in the way the program was being ran.

Who on this site said they are happy someone got raped? Nobody is loving that this happened or happened at Ohio State. We just aren't shocked that it happened considering Urban Meyer is the coach at Ohio State. If you want Ohio State to have a better reputation then maybe they should hire a coach that fans can actually respect and find classy.
