O$U Getting Ready to Narfle the Garthok Again

  • djm1478 said...

Girl goes back to a room with Dodson who she admits she is interested in. Girl and Dodson start messing around. Pittman enters the room and jumps in the bed. Girl leaves the bed and goes to the bathroom. Pittman follows the girl and forces her to give him oral sex. When girl and Pittman leave the bathroom, Michael Thomas is in the room and offers his bed to the girl. Pittman and Thomas leave. Dodson lies to police and says he didn't mess around with the girl because he has a girlfriend at home. Pittman "leaves" the program.

    Sounds plausible.

newest report says that Pittman was in fact the one who did the act. Dodson apparently is mentioned because he recollection of the account may not have been accurate but he is not currently being accused of anything wrong. Spence apparently was not listed in the report but Michael Thomas was, and he was not accused of anything there either except appearing after the act had supposedly happened.
newest report also suggests this is the reason he was released from the team.

Where is this report coming from? I am not saying it is not true, but all I have seen is message board speculation that Pittman is the alleged assailant because he left OSU. Do you have a credible source you can link or is this just something you've read on a message board?

lol The Bucknutters are all up in arms about keeping it quiet. They know this is just the beginning for them and Uban's reign of thugs at OSU.

Based on what? Having a different way of operating in the SEC? Exactly how familiar are you with Urban? I mean you may be 100% correct time will tell but maybe a look I to Cooper is worthy too. Cooper was s bad or worse than Urban was at UF. No social media however.

huh I'm not saying anything controversial. He asked a question whether the actual police report was in the BH or if it was your writers' interpretation. The literal police report was not in the BH, which is what I said.

A list of Florida Gators arrested during Urban Meyer's tenure - Orlando Sentinel

Starting in 2009, the Orlando Sentinel compiled a list of Florida football players arrested or charged with a crime since coach Urban Meyer took over six years ago. The original list was published

Off the top of my head, here's a list of OSU players who've had run-ins with the law since Meyer came in:

    Storm Klein
    Jack Mewhort
    Jake Stoneburner
    Bri'onte Dunn
    Se'Von Pittman
    Kyle Dodson
    Michael Thomas

There might be more, but that's all I can think of for now.

    According to ArrestNation.com

    OSU w/Meyer
    Bri’onte Dunn (July 2012)
    Dominic Clarke (January 7, 2012)
    Jack Mewhort (June 2, 2012)
    Jacob Stoneburner (June 2, 2012)
    Storm Klein (July 6, 2012)

    Michigan w/Hoke
    Fitzgerald Toussaint (July 21, 2012)
    Frank Clark (June 2012)
    Will Campbell (April 7, 2012)
    Josh Furman (February 11, 2012)
    Marvin Robinson (November 2011)
    Darryl Stonum (May 6, 2011)

Pretty similar at this point, actually. Though Hoke's been there for one season longer, obviously. Se'Von Pittman hasn't been charged yet, but I'd assume he will be. Glad he's off the team, hopefully the poor young lady gets justice for what's allegedly been done to her.

facepalm_msu you're trying to compare when Hoke has been here an extra year? Really?

And Hoke's had one more player arrested over that year. The point being that the arrest rate in college football is high anywhere you go.

at least our coach didn't allow a player to choke a coach and get away with it

Right, but 6 in 14 months does not equal 5 in 6 months.

4 of the 6 you mentioned for Hoke happened over a 6 month period as well, if that helps. My point isn't that Michigan athletes are criminals -- they aren't. You have a few bad seeds like anyone else. Meyer's arrest record at Florida was deplorable, I agree with that as well. But I think people are naive if they believe high arrest rates are only an issue for Meyer/OSU and aren't an issue throughout college athletics, especially football and among elite football programs. I notice a lot of "criminals are an OSU issue!" in this thread, which is why I posted in the first place. The reality is that the issue of criminality in college athletics is much bigger than OSU or Meyer alone.
