Per multiple reports, Utah State head coach Gary Andersen will be the next head coach at Wisconsin. I've linked an article by Evan Flood of our Wisconsin site.

I honestly don't know enough about him either way. It's obviously impressive that he's been able to win at a school that hadn't had much success previously, though.

I think so too. Fundamentally a defensive guy (was Urbie's DC at Utah in 2004). Took a dumpster fire of a program at Utah State and turned it into a winner in just four years. Did it while recruiting against two higher profile in-state schools (Utah and BYU).

According to Wolfie on tBB, Andersen was named non-BCS recruiter of the year twice. That's pretty impressive if true.

I wonder who the OC will be. He's a defensive guy. He was running a spread at Utah State but Alvarez is bringing him in to run Wisconsin's power scheme.
I want to make it known that Steve Lorenz (Tremendous) is the reason my trial month became a permanent membership. Smart move 247.
