All due respect but that win over that 6-7 OSU team lead by Fickell was against the worse OSU team in history.

I know we beat some bad michigan teams but we beat some good ones as well.

We should be unbeaten coming into AA next year.

40-34 was barely a win but 26-21 was a blowout.

A few things: if you can count beating MSU as a tough win last year....ummmmmm.......so did Michigan. Also, Wisconsin was an 8-6 team that struggled all year. PSU was a team dealing with unprecedented sanctions and lost several of their best players before the season began. Nebraska and Michigan I'll give you, but they were both at home.

Congratulations on the undefeated year, but I disagree vehemently with anybody that wants to make it seem like OSU had a "signature win" last year. They went undefeated against an embarrassing non-conference schedule and against an awful B1G - maybe the worst the conference has ever been.

As for the power vs. speed debate, I really think power will win, although I may be biased. I haven't does the research on this, but to the best of my memory, Saban's pro-style Alabama team decimated the Gators once Saban got his players in (so let's say after his second full recruiting cycle). Michigan beat Florida in an offensive shootout in the Citrus Bowl. I believe he had success against Georgia (don't want to ignore that) but let's face it - Georgia hasn't won a big game in over a decade (I still can't help but laugh about how this year's SEC title game ended). Obviously we'll see how everything plays out on the field - personally, I can't wait to see it unfold.

Agree with the general sentiment here, but it's going to be very interesting to see what happens next year in basketball. Right now, both teams are very talented and should be pretty good next year, but a lot depends on who goes pro after the season. If Michigan gets even one of Hardaway and GR3 to return, the Wolverines could be a potential Top 5 team next season. Ohio State has some nice players come back, but Deshaun Thomas is very likely gone and that leaves a mega hole on offense. Some of their role players are starting to step up, but they will desperately need someone to fill that gap.

Regardless, there are going to be some GREAT games in both football and basketball the next few years. And, with all four programs booming, home field/court is going to be huge.

Who doesn't think speed can beat power? Of course it CAN.

However, recent events tend to point to consistent excellence being rooted in a power system that operates from the inside out.

Perhaps after his run in with Nick Saban, the onus is on Urban Meyer to show he can consistently compete with a team that runs an efficient power attack. Let alone outlast it.

Ah, I looked at Elliot's ESPN page, my bad. I think I remember TVH saying Green recently weighed in at 223, so he's still got 11 pounds on Elliot, but they're closer than I thought.

Agree with Basketball kinda but Ohio st was 2-1 vrs Michigan and I expect us to beat you on a neutral court in the conf tourney.

In Football you had barely won in a down year because of a interim coach who was clueless. Bottom line we win this year in Ann ArbOr and I don't see you guys winning a football gm against us this Decade.
