I have to disagree about MSU looking like the better team. They played a bad Eastern Michigan team and looked bad. Really bad. They were a dropped TD pass away from being down in the 4th quarter.

The problem for me is, who has OSU played? Nobody. Now, the EMU game can be explained away at least as a hangover. What explains OSU against UAB?
I think we are underestimating MSU.

The MSU offense sucks right now. They catch the ball though, and it is a different story. Turn some of those 3rd down drops into catches and MSU is putting up good numbers.

I don't think so. MSU's offense has struggled all year. Their OL, Wr's and Maxwell are all downgrades from last year.

My appologies, rivals was where I got my stats, so seems as there are some disparities between the two. just making the point that your d isnt exactly lighting up opposing offenses.

am I serious? are you honesty posting in public that denard just makes bad decisions? isnt part of being a good quarterback taking care of the football, game management. its alot more than just throwing. and to make my point, braxton is a soph, and has improved quite a bit over last year. denard is a senior, and he has actually declined this year verses previous seasons. if you dont believe me go to your own team site and see for yourself.

To hell with the first 4 games. The game this weekend will tell us if tOSU defense is garbage or not. Finally healthy and first "Big" game. Im expecting good things. Taking the Buckeyes +3 is easy money. Mark the words

I agree that ohio is likely to win the game but I don't think the game will really tell you anything about your defense. msu has a terrible offense that struggled against emu defense, stopping them is no great task, the formula is out there and has been well documented, shut down bell and they're done.

You are correct. It'd be nice momentum going forward though. Will have a good idea about the D after nebraska the next week

yea I agree with you there, Martinez is looking improved as a passer and Burkhead is a very good rb. They will give your D a true test.
