Not looking good with Jordan Diamond

  • All signs point to Auburn. I guess he is worried about all the OL Michigan got this year. This kid is really turning out to be a headcase.
    ............................................

Per Ondre Pipkins,Twitter, Jordan Diamond is "100% not coming to Michigan".

  • Still a good ball player tho, would like to have him join the nation and hopefully when he gets on campus the staff can help with these mind games in his head.

  • Well, what happens happens. I hope we get Kozan at least...we really need a 5th OL. But if we don't, so be it.

I am disappointed about Diamond if he doesn't come because he was my favorite OL from the beginning.

  • I'd still like it if we could have signed him.

  • Auburn and UM both have 5 OL commits, he's not afraid of the competition. I also fail to see how he's a headcase. The kid took a bunch of visits like he said he was throughout the season. It's not like he pulled a Gunner Keil or Jordan Payton.

I agree...I just don't think he is decisive, is all.

Agreed... He has stated his plan from Day 1 and not wavered on it....NOBODY has stated the depth chart as a reason he might not choose Michigan because he hasn't said anything about his decision lately.... Kid has been first class all the way through and treated every program with an open mind and respect.... Wish he was a Wolverine but also hope he has a long productive career wherever he goes.

Here's my two cents - if you are that good, then you should not be afraid of competition. To be the best at what you are or trying to be, ' you have to be the best', therefore , if that is a ' concern ' - my best to him were he decides to go.

I still love the offensive line recruits coming in.!

Doesn't Auburn already have 5 OT in this class? That's more than us.

  • If Diamond does sign with Auburn I'm assuming that can't hurt our chances with Kozan?

  • Not hating on Diamond I just feel better about Kozan!

Agree. If it was the depth chart, he would have gone to Ohio or Wisky. Let him make his choice and respect it. He's handled himself fine.

Yeah this whole "kid is a drama queen" stuff needs to stop. He never said he was going to decide early and never stated a leader. He rarely talks to the media so I don't get where people got the impression in the first place.

i dont post here much not trying to troll but if diamond picks Auburn i think we all know he has $ in his eyes. wasn't mighigan his team growing up?

Man you Bucks are really on this kick about kids wanting money. Bucknuts has a thread about Neal where some are claiming his dad or something wanted paid. Please don't bring that crap to our board unless you have something to back up your claim.

  • Guys, we only have 4 OL in the 2012 class. Bars, Braden, Kalis and Magnuson. And I can't imagine a team with less depth than we have on the OL. I really don't think the depth chart is whats keeping Diamond from committing. Anyway this is just more bad news, ugh. Maybe we still have a shot at Kozan. Anyone know if/when he's actually planning on committing to someone?

  • I think it's looking more and more likely that Gibbs ends up with a scholarship offer with all these misses on the o-line.

Exactly. Ohio missed on him, so that automatically means he was bought? Only ND fans are more delusional.

My apologies I wasn't trying to stir something up. There was a post on front row by a poster (don't know him or his credibility) but he claimed diamond straight up asked for it on some visits. Maybe just salty because he didn't choose us? Either way good luck.

It's all good man. I would rather just not have that kind of stuff being said about recruits on our board without there being something real to back it up.

True, BUT A.J. Williams is and will be more of an OL than TE. His ceiling as a tackle is ridiculous.

It has been said AJ will stay at TE.

I thought the same but was wrong...he will be a TE for the foreseeable future.
