Trust, they have tried. You don't just send out an offer and just wish he'll visit, I'm sure the coaches have had convos with his coaches, have communicated via letters, fb, etc and as a result determined their chances are 0. Things can change, but i doubt it.

Wow. He mentioned us a couple of months ago and I naturally just assumed he was on the radar. I can't imagine the coaches not wanting him unless there is an off the field reason. And I'm not saying that there is, but it makes no sense for the coaches to ignore him otherwise. I am sure I remember an interview two or three months back in which he said he was interested in visiting AA. I have not heard anything since and just assumed it was "recruit speak" because he hasn't visited.

I updated the OP. Out of all these recruits, Hurst plans to visit and is the only real NT candidate with interest that would be awesome. If we miss on Hurst we may be looking at '14.

Gibbs would be great to have in this class. I like his film; I think he's a bit underrated.

Gibbs wouldn't be a bad pickup, he seems a bit raw right now and would require a lot of coaching.

I read he (gibbs) tweated something yesterday about a coach saying he would get an offer if space opens up. Is he a 1 or 3 tech?

OSU will offer him if they have a spot. I think he is a 3 tech right now, but could easily be a 1 tech after a couple years in the S&C program.

Eh, he plays high and needs serious coaching on the technique side of things. He has raw athleticism though, making him a solid prospect.

Well yeah, he's at Cass Tech. Big Will part 2 except now we'll have 3 DL coaches on his ass from day one.

TTB is incorrect regarding some of those offers. Hurst did indeed just get offered. He was really high on Michigan even before his offer, that's why we've had him listed in DT discussions already.

Yes I agree. I've liked Hurst for a while. I looked at this post this morning though thinking we're running short of NT options and realized I needed to update Hursts offer (that I thought he already had) only to see it come later. BTW, TTB reports an offer only if one of the pay sites does.
