Looks like a really good offer: A 94 composite rating on 247. Its odd that I haven't really heard anyone talk about him up until this point. It is also odd that this was only his fourth offer. South Carolina was the best program to offer up until this point. I wonder why PSU hasn't offered yet? If we can get him on campus, I would imagine that we have a really good shot.

Steve ... I am perplexed. He is ranked high on all the sites, but his offer sheet looks like a typical MSU 3*. What gives?

You're not the only one. Although part of it is probably extremely limited scholarships (about 8 available right now). Sounds like the Penn State staff has others higher on the board as well.

I strongly disagree with how the NCAA handled PSU scholarship numbers.

Yeah. We need to get down to 65 in 2014.
Most likely that number will increase as defections occur, and some kids graduate early. Most expect that it will end up around 12, but still...not many to go around.

Thanks man. I can only hope the PA governor's case helps.
But yeah, KJ is a very good player. Heard he did well at PSU's camp in the summer. Edit: sounds like the staff wants him to visit.
