I don't see them taking another RB in the first round and essentially saying the pick of Leshoure was a waste last year. They need some help in the OL which would be better for the run game than taking another RB, IMO. I hope they take an OT in the first round and go from there.

Damnit the Colts won. Good news is the Rams wouldn't draft Luck but would most likely trade the pick. Minnesota should win against the skins or Bears so the Colts may still get it but they play the Jags next week. Man i would be really disappointed if the Colts don't get Luck. Matt Kalil would solve a lot of problems though so it may not be that bad. Stick with Peyton for one more year and grab a QB next year such as Matt Barkley or Landry Jones. Wouldn't be a smart move to grab RGIII because he isn't worth the #1 or #2 pick.

I don't think the Colts will keep that pick. They have far too many needs. They're an old team. With the cap on rookie salaries now, that pick is awfully attractive, and they'll great some great offers for it. Trade it to my Skins, we'll gladly overpay for it.

I think the Colts keep it and take Luck. They went 12-4 in '06, 13-3 in '07, 12-4 in '08, 14-2 in '09, and 10-6 in '10 which was an overall record of 61-19 over a 5 year period. With Manning out this year they are 2-13. Almost as many losses this year as the last 5 years combined because of one player.
You need a great QB to win in this league, just look at the most recent super bowl winners (Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Peyton, Eli, Roethlisberger) as example. There were a couple anomolies with Tamp (Brad Johnson) and Baltimore (Dilfer), but they both had amazing defenses those seasons. Before that it was Warner, Elway, Favre, Aikman, Young (or really Elivs Grbac), etc.
If they are sitting at #1 with a chance to take Luck and give him a year or two to learn from Manning, it's their best chance to stay at the top.
