ND or MSU posters.....who's the most sensitive?

  • MSU has little brother syndrome.....and will never come close to a national title.

    And if you're not politically correct enough and say the slightest negative thing on ND board you get downvoted shunned and booted......you're not allowed to be realistic over there.

    So I ask, out of your experience from being on 247 who has the most sensitive posters. MSU or ND?

    I would say MSU, especially if you go over there after a loss and say something.

    However, I have never been to ND's board, besides this board I really only go to tBB and RCMB (for the meltdowns), so I honestly couldn't tell you. The ND fans I have talked to on tBB seem fine though.

    I don't know about most sensitive but the Spartan fans on this site are way more annoying than the ND fans and it's not even close.

    ND = most delusional
    Sparty = biggest inferiority complex
    OSU = most obnoxious and by far the least intelligent (really would fit better in the SEC)

    This makes sense.

    I think maybe alot of ND posters want to just forget about the last 20 years and desperately want to believe it's still 1990. So when you say something to make them realize what year it is they get pissed about it. Not allowed to be realistic or really have a voice over there. Tell everyone what they want to hear and don't rock the boat.

    I gave my 2 cents about what I thought about Charlie Weis and got -20. You HAVE to say ''good luck Charlie'' or ''Wish him the best'' or risk downvotes and negative comments. For those of you that can't post there, that is just one of the examples.

    Not de-railing this thread too, but you can probably find a locked thread somewhere on page 1 or 2 here with massive downvotes lol

  • Hypothetical: Say Lloyd Carr went to Kentucky to coach football. (pretend he had the record Weis did at Notre Dame but at Michigan)

    Would any one of you follow him at Kentucky? Or say forget about him who cares moving on.

    Because there is a thread going on the ND board right now with over 30 comments saying ''wish you well Weis''.....''good luck Charlie''.......''wish him the best''

    And if I were to post in it speaking my mind and telling the TRUTH that's atleast 15 downvotes.

    How weak is that?

    I don't think anyone is wishing RichRod well at Arizona. People either don't talk about him or loathe him and want him to lose, at least from what I can tell. He was much worse than Weis though, and killing a 30 year bowl streak pretty much cost him any future support.

    Weis is a terrible coach. His problem is that he's too arrogant to realize he sucks and thinks he's a football genius.

    EXACTLY! THANK YOU! +1

    It's a joke. There's atleast a thread a week dedicated to Charlie Weis and the latest on Kansas football. It's like WHO.CARES.

    Meh I hope RR does well at Arizona. I am really happy he is not Michigan's coach anymore and you won't find me defending what he did at Michigan. That is for sure but i don't really hate or dislike RR.

    That's what I meant.. you don't wish him to lose, but you're not going to be starting threads here saying 'Go Arizona' as the Irish poster is saying they do over there for Weis.

    Nope not doing that and I won't defend him when people say bad things about RR either.

    Love hate in most cases. I think everyone realizes he's likely the most dynamic runner in Michigan history. They also realize he's a mediocre QB who makes a lot of mistakes passing.

    So you have one of the most exciting players in college football on your roster, but know that because of it you won't win a national title and probably end up with as many interceptions as TD passes.

    I love watching him, but I will be happy when we return to an offense that you heart doesn't sink every time you see the QB wind up to throw a deep ball.

    If people havent already realized, Denards significance will be felt next year and we were lucky to have him the past 3-4 years. Things would be much more ominous if he wasn't on the squad.

    The significance of losing a 3-year starter at QB is almost always felt. Improved play on defense will help the transition.
