Morris the believer and recruiter

Shane Morris saw something special happening at Michigan, and now the touted 2013 QB is trying to show that to several other prospects, including a 2012 five-star recruit.

    Shane Morris is ridiculous.

  • This kid has "special" written all over him. He seems to have the makings of a true leader on and off the field. So glad he is on our side.

Oh I know. Having him wrapped up so early is invaluable. It's helped us with 2012 recruiting and it will be huge for 2013. So many recruits have said they want to play with him and they want to be around him. He's such a great leader and such a great kid.

Any interview you see with him, he'll tell you everything that's wrong with his game. Whenever someone asks him what he needs to work on, he says "everything." That's the kind of attitude a high school (and college) football player needs to have. Never stop working, never stop practicing.

Shane has all the intangibles you want at the QB position on top of having a big arm and being an above average athlete. I saw him perform at various summer events and kids gravitate towards him.

  • Having a 5* QB who is a true believer selling the program to outsiders is huge at this point in the Hoke era.

  • I just hope that he continues to get better. I want him to be hungry and humble. I want him to have that dog inside him that pushes him to never settle.

yes it would be huge for the program to have a 5* QB influencing other kids to go to Michigan, but you don't have one. You have a 4* QB according to the article. 5* QB's go to OSU. I guess he's not as good as you think he is?

He's a 5* on TOS and most likely will be a 5* on this site when it's all said and done. Let's not pretend that Ohio State is QBU.

Oh by the way, how did that last 5* QB work out for you? I think he ended up costing your coach his job.

Your an idiot. Scout and Rivals already have Shane as a 5 star, ESPN has run multiple stories on him in their recruiting section, 247 will catch up just give them time. As for the O$U crap all of that is over they can no longer offer them tattoos, cash, women and drugs to entice them to come and play for that cheating a*@ program of yours so get over it. tongue

Morris is going to be one of the top few QBs in the next class, if not #1...I will put money down that he is a 5* when all is said and done.

I thought Pryor did pretty well. Undefeated against you. Can't do better than that can you? As for Tressel, he cost himself his job. He should have done the right thing regardless of his intentions. No one player is bigger than the program.

How many of those 5 star QBs have won a MNC for Ohio State?
