Looks like he is going to announce soon, per Rivals. I can't find a date yet.

How bad do we want McCray??? If we take McCray...then we prolly can't take Levenberry, O'Daniel, or Gedeon. How good is this kid? I saw his film, but not real sure on him.

I disagree. I think we will take a minimum of 2, if not three LB. Also, are we sure we are taking him as a LB, and not a TE? I have never heard confirmation.

I wouldn't want another 6'2 TE. So if we did, it would probably be for LB.

McCray is 6'4 and people elsewhere are saying Michigan is in a good spot here. McCray has the versatility too play OLB or defensive end in college. I think he is a guy you find room for.

Interesting to see where he goes. Definitely wouldn't surprise me if jumped ship to go to OSU if they offered though.

My general sentiments on this issue: if he were to commit to UM, I don't think I would count him as a commit until he steps foot on campus for fall camp. I think he's trying to bluff OSU into an offer, and the second he gets one, he's flipping from wherever he committed to Ohio. Meyer seems to be slow playing some Ohio kids, and if/when he misses on other prospects, he'll swoop in and try to flip them.
However, if he were to committ to UM and stick with it, I would gladly take him. Good prospect.

Agree with this 100%. And what school would make OSU try to sway him? Maybe the arch-rival Michigan Wolverines? If he commits to UM I'll count it as a soft commit and nothing else.

I like the idea of keeping the Trotwood-Madison Funnel open. Is Gedeon leaps and bounds above McCray or does everyone want him for other reasons (like maybe so Ohio misses out)? I mean, McCray is listed at 6'4" 230, whereas Gedeon is 6'2" 205 and a 92 vs 90, respectively, on 247.

Yeah I never jumped on the whole let's start calling Ohio State, "Ohio" bandwagon. That's something that started with Woody Hayes never calling us Michigan and was brought back with coach Hoke, who claims to have called them that his whole life. I personally have called them Ohio State my whole life. So I'm not changing now just because our head coach calls them Ohio.
Also my favorite rivalry week chant is, "Oh-How-I Hate-Ohio State." Doesn't sound right just saying Ohio. lol
(This is just a mini rant because everywhere I go lately people give me crap for not calling them Ohio.)

Both Levenberry and McCray would be a fantastic get. I like Gedeon too, but it seems he's an Ohio lean (at least that's what the Nuts are saying). It really would be hard to go wrong with either McCray or Gedeon. The other LB out there I really like is O'Daniel, though he is a bit smaller and also plays RB.
