    Mike Farrell:
Dad prefers FSU, EJ prefers Michigan. If he commits early it will be Michigan, if he waits this will be very interesting

  • Interesting information if true. I would be curious to hear why each favors which school, mainly bc I don't know much about FSU other than they usually are sound on defense but struggle with their offensive line.

To me, Farrell is the Stephen A. Smith of the recruiting world. He just loves to share his opinion like it's fact. Look at how his tune changed on Levenberry based on tweets from a week ago (oldest at the top, newest at the bottom):

you think #Michigan leads for Levenberry? @charleskalkman: @rivalsmike guessing Dorian gets left out cuz of McCray, Gedeon, and Levenberry

    I'm saying I think #FSU is team to beat, #Michigan close 2 @hail2thavctrs: @rivalsmike r u saying Michigan doesn't lead for Levenberry

Mike Farrell ‏ @rivalsmike Reply Retweet Favorite · Open
to who? @bunkerf16: @rivalsmike @Hail2thavctrs Except that he's specifically said his top team was Michigan.

interviews with whom? @umwolfpack87: @rivalsmike he's said they lead for him in several interviews

Mike Farrell ‏ @rivalsmike Reply Retweet Favorite · Open
same that said #Michigan led for Stefon Diggs? EJ could end up at #Michigan, but watch for #FSU @bunkerf16: @rivalsmike Scout reporters..

EJ Levenberry confirmed #Michigan leads, but I still say watch out for #FSU

FYI, per his dad EJ Levenberry is making decision at Army Bowl in Jan, #Michigan leads slightly and #FSU knows and has stepped up their game

Who does FSU think they are? MICHIGAN?

  • Well did he ever answer your question about were each of the RBs end up?

What's wrong with a man giving away a golden shower? Sounds like a nice gift to me.

  • C'mon EJ! Go Blue!

  • Looking at the chat now. You can tell Farrell wants EJ to go to FSU if only to throw it back in UM fan's faces.

Farrell thinks Orndoff will end up at Pitt.

  • Yeah, never been a huge fan of Mike Farrell myself. Not a "bad" guy, just kind of a wonk. As DIZZO said, he needs to stop acting like his educated speculation is a fact. In the end, it's all just speculation. He needs to take a page from Sam Webb's book. He'd be more credible.

  • Mike Ferrell just throws stuff out there to get a response. 2 weeks ago he said look for a major decommit in the 2013 class.he started the Buckeye rumor of a major "flip" headed to Ohio St about a month ago .. he is hit n miss

  • I have trouble believing that EJ's father prefers FSU assuming that his father has been forthright.

  • Gentlemen. I'm in good contact with the Levenberry camp. It's too early to call. It's obvious Michigan and Florida State have made great impressions. I think he'll make it back to each campus a couple times. There's still a lot of recruiting to go. If Michigan continues to recruit Levenberry hard, and the Wolverines have a fine season, I think they have just as good a chance to land EJ in January as they do now. We'll see how this plays out.

Agree, a lot can happen in 8 months and it could end up being neither Michigan or FSU in the end.

I have an issue when analysts seem to have a agenda though and are more worried about being right than being accurate. I also might be a little more annoyed in this case because the same guy tweeted something along the lines of, "I would've let Anzalone and Shane Jones still visit if it were me..." I think it crosses the line of an analyst when you start saying you think the coaches of certain schools are making mistakes and you would've done their job differently.
