Being angry after a tough loss doesn't give you the freedom to be irrational or stupid on a message board.

I like to think of myself as a tolerant guy but this type of stupidity should be a bannable offense imo.

Right cuz u get to say who can and can't talk about things right. It's fans like u who make me sick. Your ok with losing. which makes u a loser.

You're naive to think Beilein isn't the best coach we've had in a long time. The direction he has moved our program since he has arrived here has been nothing but upwards, stop acting like a baby because we choked a game away.

Last I checked I wasn't living in north korea. We should have the right to say what we feel.

  • Michigan played as expected - buckled under the pressure. Missed free throws. This game will haunt this team. A big loss across the board from B10 share title, to B10 Tourney seeding, to potential NCAA tourney seeding. Bad loss.

I'm all for it. Trust me. Be disappointed all you want. But when you say shit like "you're disgusted with this team", "embarrassed by them", or "you're not proud of them" you're being an idiot. These are kids.

i just dropped my son off at 2 today and spent 30 minutes talking to 2 football players - you'd know they're names if I mentioned them. The whole time I'm talking to them, I'm thinking "these are kids. 18 year old college kids and people what to MF them when they lose a game"

It's repulsive. Get ahold of yourself. You're a fan, sitting on a computer while they're out on the court/field competing at the highest level in college and you (the collective "you") want MF them? F anyone who does that.

I sort of agree with this but at the same time, it's not that obvious either. The positive attention that comes with being a star athlete is more than welcomed by the majority of these guys. And who wouldn't love it? But that attention is a result of people *caring* about sports, college sports, more than they probably should and the flip side of that is the negative emotion after tough losses. You gotta take the boos and trash talk with the cheers and high fives, everything else is just unrealistic.

Loser? Why? Because he's not an immature, whining baby complaining like he could do better?

You'd fit right in with Sparty.

The alternative is to let an irrational little bitch like you piss off the board with nonsense.

If the board had a choice between me and you, it would pick me every time.

    In other words, GTFO.

Exactly. Who would make the yearly recruiting threads without you? lol

I do get that as well. I agree that some people go overboard, drastically at times. But it is also aggravating when those that come to voice displeasure in some semblance of a rational manner are dogged mercilessly. Anything can happen in sports as the cliche goes, but REALISTICALLY, we should never, ever have lost the Wisconsin, PSU OR this game. The talent is absolutely there and we were in position to win those games except for total meltdowns by the team.

The reality is between seeing Clowney destroy Smith about 5 million times on ESPN, Wisconsin's buzzer beater three that took the game to OT in tournament promos and the way this will be the lead story on Sportscenter, it's getting a bit grating to be on the wrong side of highlight clips.

I 100% agree with you. It comes with the territory. They also are getting a free education. I will be the first to admit that I care to much. Usually I get only get mad when i see a lack of effort. It really grinds my gears when I see a college team that refuses time and time again to put a body on someone and box out.

  • I'm upset we lost today too but I did see some positives. We definitely played with a lot of heart unlike that stupid Penn state game. I also think we played a lot better on defense.
I think we make a good run in the tourny. Plus I love our coach. GO BLUE !!!

  • Everyone needs to cool it or I'll start dishing out bans. We lost, big deal. We're also a top 7 team and have steadily improved every single year under Belein. Overreact much? Do people not remember the Amaker years?
