    I just said I thought the set up was dumb. I didnt understand the mechanics and asked if I missed something. Our set up was horrible last year due to lack of O-lineman. I guess you guys had a similar situation? I just don't get why the defense couldn't score any points. However, I was not "bashing" anyone. I said scum in my title just as you guys say Ohio. I didn't say anything hypocritical to my post in this thread.

    It was first team defense and second team offense against the first team offense and second team defense.

    Offense vs Defense, the offense's objective is to score points, the defense's objective is to stop the offense from scoring.

    Yea cool story bro, so you your honest opinion is you liked the set up and would rather not have a scoring system for the defense? Where's the competition? They are pretty much predetermined to lose.

    Not sure what you're saying. The first team offense could score against the first team defense, and the second team offense could score against the second team defense.

    Blue team: first team defense, second team offense
    White/Maize team: first team offense, second team defense.

    The second team offense scored 17 on the second team defense, and the first team offense didn't score on the first team defense. So the blue team won 17-0.

    And here are some images of you calling yourself Ohio. Plus, I'm pretty sure it's in your fight song. Could be wrong about that though. And all your chants. But you're right, I'm sure you're referring to the state, not the university, when you chant "OH" "IO"

    It was a scrimmage setting more than an actual spring game. I prefer the full spring game method but we don't have the depth right now to do that, we will eventually.

    Woody Hayes must have been a Wolverine in disguise or something, because he called Ohio State "Ohio" as well. I am so glad they don't worship his very feet or anything, because that would be hypocritical of them or something like that...

    That was my only point man I wasn't trying to be a dick. I hated our spread last year. For one because we had not recruited enough to hve a real game and two because I also prefer the traditional setting. And buttesnake while I know this may be splitting hairs the argument could be made that the university part has already been established whether it be colors or the fight song of the university.

    No worries man, sorry if I came off as an ass, I tend to be short with people sometimes without meaning to. I think you could see us go to a full spring game format next year or the year after, as we'll have better scholly numbers. We'll probably be in the spread for another 2 years.

    Edit-a spread variation with some pro style looks, as long as Gardner is the QB.

    Yeah, I'm pretty sure that we'll probably have one when we get big enough. We just don't have enough members right now for that.
