That'd be a great problem to have. I really don't know the answer at this point, but I assume Michigan would do its best to make room for Treadwell no matter what.

I'm worried that someone is going to commit before treadwell and he won't have a spot.

I don't see that happening. If somebody commits and they are full it's because Treadwell didn't want the spot, not because he was too slow and missed out.
I also look at all the pics tweeted out this weekend from commits and recruits and don't recall seeing Devon Allen in any of them. I saw Damon Webb, Ferns, Westphal (or at least his hair), Mason Cole, Artavious Scott, and of course Derrick Green, but not a single shot of Allen. That makes me think we moved up, but still would have a long way to go to get into the top of his list.

I would love to add Allen to our class. He's different from any other receiver that we have taken in the last two classes. I think it's going to be tough pulling him away from Stanford or OSU though.

I don't see the correlation between his interest in us and lack of pictures. Maybe he isn't photogenic?
But in actuality he showed up late to the BBQ. That is most likely the reason he wasn't in the pictures

He said the only commit he really hung out with was Jake Butt. So if Jake didn't take any pictures while the two were together, then that would make sense. Just from knowing these guys, some are much more likely to take pictures than others. I think it's just a difference in personality.

Both you and Mitch Again are correct, it's not an end-all indicator of lack of interest if a kid didn't take pictures. I was incorrectly using Derrick Green as the comparison. Love the kid's speed but just not interested in having him commit when we have Treadwell so close. If everything falls thru I'd still rather take a D Lineman since we just lost Clark.

Yeah, a lot of times, it's just a matter of who that recruit was talking to at what time. I think the key sign regarding Allen's interest in Michigan will be whether he returns for an official this fall. Of course, timing may play a crucial role in that, as it's possible that Michigan will be full before he can visit again.

Agreed.
Allen's more of a slot than any of our commits/targets. Dukes, Treadwell and York are more outside receivers. For the sake of a balanced receiving corps and having some speed on offense, I hope Allen ends up in this class.
