Nate Wolters may not be better than Trey Burke but he's close (statistically).
Wolters (senior): 22.8 ppg / 5.6 rpg / 5.8 apg. He shot 49.3% from the field, 39.0% from the arc, and 81.0% from the FT line. Burke (sophomore): 19.2 ppg, 3.1 rpg / 5.7 apg. He shot 47.9% from the field, 40.1% from the arc, and 7.3% from the FT line.
Wolters has a 124.8 offensive rating with a 30.2 usage percentage. Burke has a 124.4 offensive rating with a 28.9 usage percentage.

To be honest, out of the other options at 13, I really didn't mind seeing SDSU pop up on the screen. They are a really small team, probably just as small as Michigan, and equally poor defensively/on the glass. It's going to be a shootout. I think Michigan has too much firepower for them. If they can shut down Wolters, they can run away with this game.
In the second round, it's a crap shoot. VCU is good, but I could also see Akron pulling the upset.

Everyone is so worried about VCU because of their defense...
Richmond - 82pts
Temple - 76pts
St. Joes - 79pts
UMass - 62pts
St. Louis (VCU Loss) - 62 pointsTheir last 4 games, teams are averaging in the high 60's with a very fast tempo game. That is not at all the type of game Michigan has really struggled against this season where the scores are in the 40's. If it's a game where you're out running and scoring, I like Michigan's chances. The half-court game is where the offense really struggles, IMO.
