Why was is offer pulled then? they just reoffered him. I think what you said is true if the player (ex: conley) is upfront with the coaches. I think if the player isn't upfront and doesn't communicate with the coaches then the coaches will pull the players offer and completely part ways. I think Dawson's situation was i little different and the coaches made an exception because of what he has been through. IMO

Dawson did not act like a mature kid. That is a fact. He screwed up, was less than honest...that is why he was dropped. But the coaches are doing the right thing. They know he had a terrible year, and no reason to hold grudges against 17 year olds. If Dawson learns from the process, all the better.

I am not sure yet how I feel about this. It is easy for me to sit here and say that I want him back in this class because I do, however, even though I feel he will end up blue, what if he picks OSU, Bama, or MSU, and the re-offer to him leaves a bad taste in Rogers, Hunt, and Lacy's mouth, after they starting to be somewhat heavily recruited again by Michigan (going as far as to set up officials)? In the long run this could still cause Michigan to be without any of the 4 on National Signing Day. That being said, I am glad he has a chance to go blue again, I hope he does, and I think he will.

This past two months on the recruiting trail have been the strangest. Everybody grab your back packs. I am going on a mission trip in Montana, maybe I run into Phil Jackson & we can sit down break bread with some cup of joe & talk about the good old Jordan days.
I should be back by NSD.

Michigan Back In The Mix For Dawson
