Don't take this the wrong way, but there seems to be a general sense of nervousness or uneasiness among Alabama fans about this game. All this talk about how overmatched we are and how you are going to hurt our QB, and doing it on our board even, it's almost as if you're trying to convince yourselves you're not gonna lose. Hey, just relax. It's just a football game. If you lose, you lose. You can still play for an SEC title and have a shot at a decent bowl game.

You act like Denard is a statue in the pocket. You would never know, but he has some speed to avoid the blitz.
I'll tell you what, I bet you Denard hasn't watched any TV this week and doesn't know Saban called him the best player since Cam. Guarantee he doesn't have a stuck out chest, the guy is too humble for that.

Bama fan here. First off, I can't tell you how jacked I am for this game on Saturday. Two of the most historic teams in CFB history on the field at JerryWorld, all eyes on us. Huge for both of our recruiting. The atmosphere will be amazing. Big respect to Michigan. I was there for the 1999 Orange Bowl game featuring Shaun Alexander and Tom Brady. I remember Brady lighting us up that game. It was probably the best quarterback performance vs Alabama in 20 years. Awesome game, hate how it ended.
We have some of the greatest fans in the world, but we also have a ton of uneducated homer fans too. The ones predicting a Michigan blowout and the death of Denard Robinson also think a) USC sucks this year and b) Alabama's team can beat the 2012 New York Jets....I'm dead serious. I apologize for those types of Alabama fans. Unfortunately, every school has them. Most of you guys traveling to the game will find out that the majority of Alabama fans treat other fans with a great deal of respect....we realize how great of an opportunity this is.
Now, an opinion on the game from a un-biased Alabama fan: I'm predicting that Alabama will lose one game this year, two at the very most. The games that scare me are LSU, Arkansas, Missouri (trap game) and Michigan. You guys are coming off an 11-2 season with DR coming back. That's huge! I do believe that Denard Robinson will give us fits for the first half. I think we'll be punched in the face early, and we'll have to adjust quickly. Running the ball could be tough in the beginning vs your D-Line. Won't be surprised if Michigan leads at half time and ultimately upsets Alabama. I see Alabama winning, but not even close to a blowout.
A few notesa: 1. Alabama shut Cam Newton down in 2010. If Saban successfully shut down Newton, then he shouldn't struggle with DR 2. Nick Saban has had all summer to prepare for one game. Last time he had more than a week to develop a plan, LSU-BCS Championship. 3. Weakness: Special Teams. If it comes down to special teams, we're toast. 4. Weakness/Maybe: Newcomers on Defense. Sunseri and HaHa. People see them as a weakness, but HaHa was a 5* and Sunseri is already a celebrity at Alabama for his hard hits, smarts and crazy work ethic. Still, they are young, and facing DR in their first starts of their CFB career. It's one thing to be a freak of physical nature, but if you're out of position, especially in this game, it won't matter how hard you hit. 5. TJ Yeldon -- Freshman. This kid is a big mystery to most, but the team is expecting a HUGE season from this kid. He's behind Lacy right now, but everyone close to the program swears that he'll be the featured running back by the end of the year. Lacy will be great, and it will be fun to see him bring the old-school "spin move" back from the grave, but big things are expected of Yeldon. He could be a huge factor or huge flop. This is what I'm looking forward to the most.
Prediction: Alabama wins, but doesn't beat the spread. I'm seeing a 7-10 point win. A great game that will NOT hurt Michigan's status and might not even drop Michigan out of the top 10. Michigan wins the conference championship. Most importantly, Denard Robinson won't die.
Good luck guys!!

Try not to take too much of what an "unbiased" Bama fan ... who goes by "tarheel" ... seriously.
Special teams a weakness? Where? Christion Jones filled in for Maze in the BCSCG game and there was zero drop off. Shelley made 5 FGs. With the new KO rules, every Bama opponent will start at the 20. That means to score, you have to consistently drive or go 80. Not going to happen very often.
Special teams is more of a strength than a weakness, brother. Remember, only Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix and Deion Belue are true newcomers. EVERYONE ELSE has significant playing time on a national championship team at the highest level of competition.
Did I mention 4 of 5 starters on the OL will be drafted, three in the 1st rd?
27-6.
