If Rawls doesn't step up Alabama will completely focus on Denard...and that would be bad lol. I think Alabama has to at least feel like there is a slight threat at RB for Michigan, otherwise it's gonna be a really long day.

Fitz is the bigger loss but Clark hurts the depth against a monster O-line.

Good point. Desmond Howard said that it shouldn't be a huge issue that Toussaint is out because Rawls was penciled in as the starter last season before his shoulder injury. I agree with Howard here.

Yea, but Rawls was not the starter, and didn't even start later in the season, nor gain 1000 yards on the ground.....so his intangibles and measurables are unknown and a ?

Alabama has been completely focusing on Robinson regardless. Running backs do nothing against Alabama. Apologize for the unsolicited input. Carry on.

I think you're right. Alabama will stack the box on first and second down and dare Denard to beat them with his arm. I bet Denard suprises everyone and throws for 300+ yards tonight.

And they will do exactly the same thing to every team they play this year. That running game is absolutely unstoppable. Barring major injuries, Alabama is going to repeat as national champions. No one will stop them.

I agree that is their bread & butter spread. We have a stout + line and 4 rb's. Now stop it. Any word on Countess, Lewan injuries? Man I hope nothing serious.
