Michigan 2014 OT commit Denzel Ward

Tells me he no longer attends the Chicago (Ill.) Franciscan Hales Academy. Tells me he goes to the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.
This is definitely good news for Ward as he continues to transition from being a basketball player to a football player.

I agree. Florida seems like our main competition and now it will be very difficult to visit us while much easier to vist Gainesville.

This just means most of the SEC and ACC will be after him. Soon.
Hopefully, the connection with Logan Tulley-Tillman is strong and will continue to be strong.
If Michigan has a strong 2013 season, then we should be able to hold on to Ward.

He transferred to IMG in Florida. So he and Ward will be playing together.

I know that IMG has a QB academy but I didn't know that it was expanding into HS football.
Chris Weinke as coach makes me wary. He might push some players toward FSU.

His recruitment is puzzling .... I thought he was considering a decommit? 12 months is a long time.
