Thanks, Steve! He would be an addition to a great TE class with Funchess and maybe Williams. Do you think we have a real chance? I have to think RichRod's TE usage is making him rethink Arizona..

I know I am a little disappointed that he isn't one of the 500 five stars they hand out EVERY SINGLE year.
Scout's rankings suck.

I think the RR hiring has to have him re-thinking his commitment. TEs were rarely used, if ever during RR's time at Michigan.
Would be a good get IMO if we could pull him.
Judging from twitter he seems to be good friends with Garnett and at least knows Magnuson (his school is facing Magnuson's in the next round of playoffs iirc).

he'd be a great fit in this offense and be able to play from day one.
Much better fit than Pharaoh IMO. He's got more size and looks like a better blocker.
Pharaoh is much in the mold of Funchess- but better IMO- more of a flex-TE and receiving type threat.
McNamara is an all-around TE with great size that can block and catch it.

Eh agree to disagree. I agree their star system is stupid, but their actual positional rankings themselves are better than TOS.

Because they kept dropping the ball. Koger, for example, the highest rated tight end Michigan has?
15 receptions this year, 14 receptions last year, 16 receptions the year before that. 3 TDs this year, 2 last year, 2 the year before that. Averaged more yards per catch when RR was here (both years) than he did this year.
Has nothing to do with "RR's time at Michigan."
