I agree with you I think Shane should make the trip too. The two things that Ferns, Speight, and Morris have in common are 1. all 3 of them have GREAT personalities and leadership qualities. and 2. all 3 of them are committed to Michigan!!

I can't wait to see who he will be rooming with when he is there. Taylor Lewan is a great choice in my opinion. Top NFL prospect would be in his ear the whole time. You know Hand is going to ask the question about why he didn't enter the draft this year and all Lewan will be able to say is "Look around, there is no place on earth like Ann Arbor, I had to stay as long as possible" Hand will then reply "Where is Ferns at? I need one of those sick Project135 shirts"

While I'm not nearly as optimistic as you regarding a commitment (I think he takes multiple visits and decides in the fall), I do think it's huge that he's brining the full posse here. Nobody brings their parents and family on a visit that isn't serious. If he was just planning on partying and enjoying the women, he'd be alone, but bringing the full crew is both an indication of his interest and an opportunity for us to just blow them away with how awesome Michigan is.

Yeah that stuff only happens in my daydreams but in all seriousness, Michigan has like the #8 best engineering school in America. Virginia Tech is #24. He is probably most comfortable close to home right now, but every prospect who visits raves about Michigan's family atmosphere and how Ann Arbor just feels like home. I really think we are going to hit a home run on this visit, I just hope they can surround him with recruits and Michigan players that he can get a good relationship with like he has with players at VA Tech.
