Doesn't matter if the kid has three stars, the kid can play. I thought he looked great in the all star game. I and most other OSU fans couldn't wait for this kid to commit to OSU. The reality was we already had 3 "big backs" and Meyer (for his offense) needs some fast game breakers in the backfield so Elliot got the scholarship. If you guys had gotten Dunn last year, Green would likely be headed to OSU. Most Buckeye fans wish the kid well and recognize Michigan is a great fit for him, but it wil be tough to see him put on the Maize and Blue. If you get him it won't matter how many stars he has, all that matters is that you are getting a damn good running back.

Not only that but apparently 247 doesn't believe Green is even a top 5 RB hell they have him all the way down in the 10th spot behind player's like Taquan Mizzell,Ryan Green,Alvin Kamara and Ezekiel Elliott. What a joke. Half of those guy can't even hold Greens jockstrap let alone be on the same field as him I mean Ezekiel Elliott over Derrick Green?? Really what are you smoking. I guess we all know why they have O$U ranked all the way up at number 2 what a bunch of overrated crap. All this just so they can plz Urban Meijers ass.

totally agree Rivals.com has Ohio 4th and Michigan 5th in class ranking yet michigan has 4 more total recruits, Michigan has 1 five star to Ohio's 0, Michigan has 15 four stars to Ohio's 14 and the average star per recruit is Michigan 3.62 and Ohio 3.59 yet they have Ohio ranked ahead of Michigan???????????????????????? Am i over reacting ??

i agree with ya Moon, and my personal opinion I believe that the SEC has dominated in the last 7 years that all the recruiting sites including ESPN will rank a player better if they are going to an SEC school due to the fact they want the SEC to continue thier dominance. I mean for crying out loud doesnt ESPN have a tv deal with the SEC, i know CBS does. They know Green will end up at Michigan so they dont give him the 5th star. If the SEC continue to do well in recruiting classes year after year kids in high school see that and they continue to follow the trend. But i think Hoke and his staff have done a remarkable job recruiting and it will continue and Michigan is 2 years away from really being a force on the field that will bring a National Championship to Ann Arbor in 2015. Am i just being Michigan/Big Ten bias ? or how do you feel towards this?

Michigan is lucky Eliott committed before Green, otherwise Green would be a buckeye and Michigan would be shit out of luck stuck with devon smith. thats why every schools is after alvin kamara have you seen his highlights crazy good i would take him over any RB in this calss including Green and Elliot combined. Hoke can't even hold Urban's jockstrap.
Saban > Meyer > any coach in the nation > hoke

Top end speed and shiftiness.
He has great balance, vision, and drive. But he's the type of back who's constantly good for an extra three or four yards, rarely for an extra 10-20 yards.
He may gain a lot of yards at Michigan, but to me he is a high floor/low ceiling guy.

Looks like Derrick Green isn't getting a 5th star from 247
