As far as Garnder goes I am not sold on him as an NFL Wr by any means. He has shown some flashes but he has not shown the hands needed to be a good NFL WR. He has dropped too many catchable balls this year.
I don't know why everyone just wants to give the starting QB job to Bellomy. I seriously hope the coaches are not thinking the same thing. I would much prefer a serious competition and the starter is whoever wins the job in the Spring.

I don't see any way to RS Morris. Bellomy will get the starter reps in spring and leading into next season. Gardner will not have had even No. 2 qb reps for well over a year by the time the season starts as he is and will be primarily a wr. Got to have three playable qbs on the depth chart. No way a season can be put at risk by a walk on if there is an injury so that puts Morris on the active roster. It will sort itself out though. Maybe one of the walk ons will turn out to be a stud, but it is unlikely.

I say you start Bellomy with Shane as the backup. And you do everything in your power to keep Bellomy healthy so ideally he plays every snap and Shane can RS.
I love Shane and think he will be a beast, but I just don't like the thought of starting a true freshman at QB. It limits us too much in the playbook IMO, and we would be better off with Bellomy or Gardner (IMO Bellomy wins that comp) bridging the gap.
