Thanks for the update Steve!
I fully understand why some of you are frustrated with Treadwell's recruitment. Try to keep in mind that he's still in high school, and that this is probably the biggest decision he's ever had to make. He's still got plenty of time between now and signing day, so why not continue visiting schools until he's 100% sure?
And as Steve said, he'll be back in Ann Arbor in two weeks, so Michigan will have an opportunity to surge back to the top once again.

I feel the coaches may have backed off slightly because of the "girlfriend theory". If you keep going after a girl and get shot down, then sometimes you have to show interest in others and stop showing so much attention to the original girl.
I think that after he comes for his visit in two weeks, that he will realize where the attraction originally came from. If we could land him and Green that weekend....WOW!
How do we know that about the coaches though? We were the first BCS team to offer him....I think it means a lot more than people think. Not like he came out and said Michigan is trailing. We'll be fine, as long as we don't tank and lose appeal.
I don't think anyone can criticize the coaches for recruiting or closing cause they are obviously great at both. As for Treadwell.... I think our coaches are just not up for playing mind games and feel if he wants to be a Michigan Man then fine...if not, then that's fine as well. There are other kids out there that deserve their time too and they need to give them some love is Treads is just going to abuse it. All will be fine
