Just got word that Wolverine target Christian Lacouture has committed to Nebraska via Todd Worly.

A little disappointing from Michigan's perspective that Lacouture didn't visit Ann Arbor again as originally planned. He's a great kid, I'm sure he'll have an outstanding career in Lincoln.

First of all thanks everyone for the congrats. I need to come over here more often, you guys are a classy bunch. I've crossed paths with some of you guys, such as blue2468 and Duckworth, and it's been great.
As for the question above, I kinda have the same question on the subject. I think Lacouture could potentially play inside as Mathis could potentially play LB. Same position, two different athletes. This definitely doesn't help us with Mathis, but last I knew we were still on top. This may change that in a hurry though.

I think he is #1 on our DE board, and that's why we are still in it for him. I'm ecstatic for Natter and Lacouture, but Mathis easily trumps them both. This commit could sway Mathis mind though.

IMO, Lacouture's commitment won't affect Nebraska's chances with Mathis at all.

Taco is a beast. Really wish we could of brought him in. We have AJ Natter already, which would push Mathis #3 DE in the class aswell.
